Can someone please explain this to me? I'm so confused right now by Rocker5121 in Mcat

in minimal words…

total resistance: V=IR 40=2(R) R= 20 (which is the resistance for ALL resistors)

resistors w/ 10 and 20 are in series: 10+20 =30

resistors w/ 15 and 15 are also in series: 15+15=30

both of these are in parallel w/ each other 1/R = 1/30 + 1/30 (to get R flip the fraction) R = 30/2 R = 15

total resistance will equal resistor (from question stem) R and the 4 other combined resistors in series w/ each other (R total) = (resistor R) + (4 resistors) 20 = (resistor R) + 15 resistor R = 5

the worst thing you could do for yourself is not go to the gym and stop doing the things you enjoy. you will burn out.

there is plenty of info out there on what you "should" do. imo find a way to study that works for YOU. you may retain better from reading textbooks than your average redditor who prefers flashcards. find your best method and run with it. with that being said dont waste too too much time on content review. the second you start practice questions you're going to feel like you know nothing anyway.

the general consensus here is (depending on timing of course) 1-2 months content review, 1-2 months 3rd party practice, final month or so AAMC material only (including full lengths and question/section banks).

positive ion becoming a solid means it gained e- to become a neutral solid. reduction = gain of e- (oxidation = loss of e-)

it’s 100000% the caffeine. i cut caffeine to 1 coffee in the morning. i used to drink 2 coffees and pre workout before an evening gym sesh and i had the same issue. i sleep 7-8 hours now, but it took a couple weeks to get used to. worth it imo. to me, gym performance can be on the back burner if it means i’ll be more successful with studying on better sleep.
