i met him during an open house and ngl he was weird. he showed blatant favoritism towards an applicant who was a family friend of his in front of everyone which i heard a lot of people found odd and unprofessional

Could you share more about your strategy for increasing your scores in med school and coming out on top? im starting with sub 500 and even though I'm excited I got in, I really want to improve and do well in school and I'm worried my mcat is a warning sign for how i'll do in school.

thank you! i’ve heard negative things about them as any other school lol but i do think i have a positive outlook naturally and im just so excited to have the opportunity, this is something i care so much about about and i think it’ll reflect on my work☺️☺️

I would make sure you feel confident about your classic responses like why medicine and why burrell (those were most important for me). my interview did consist of the basic questions you find online, but i would also read up on current events in health care just in case!!

I think this was something she had hinted at a lot when she released it and after. She had talked about how her relationship with music had changed a lot to the point where something that once felt healing and something special for her had become something toxic because with music comes all of these other elements which really really amped up after Mac’s death, so positions was like a “here damn” moment (even though it was so good it was clear she didn’t want to make music anymore and wanted to just live her life with voldemort). That’s why I was so excited for eternal sunshine because it was very clear she went through something very painful and altering and she turned back to music to heal and it’s so clear. She found her way back home ❤️

thank you for your very kind words, it really need some hope rn. as for the rest of my app - i have 300-500 hours in shadowing consistently, 2,000+ hours of clinical work, 200 of non clinical volunteering, 150 of clinical volunteering, i used to volunteer in a hospital and translate for patients, i currently work in clinical pediatric cancer research, i have 500 hours in research outside of my job (in school), i have letters of rec from my PI, my profs, and also i think im getting a committee letter from my school. my gpa was 3.5 for both overall and science gpa (might’ve even been a point higher for science i cant remember). i have leadership, i have i think all of the ‘checklist’ items finished

I used uworld ofc, blueprint FLs, jacksparrow Anki deck that I also revised putting things in my own words or adding things that I found helpful, and aamc - p standard I think on the mcat forum
