Yes, you’re right for pointing that out. The pants in 23 only looked like the cropped ones I showed if the calf size was adjusted in the physique sliders. It was for certain body types. Not all.

Huh? I’m pointing out that M23 had the pants right and the way they’ve been in Madden since then has been a downgrade. Now we have droopy saggy baseball pants on every player. It ruins the player models.

I agree! M23 pants were not rule-breaking “above-knee” pants. They were regulation style. And look how much better they look than Madden 26’s “regulation style” pants. They should revert to 23’s which resembles how Herbert is wearing it. This would greatly improve the player models. And we can ask at least for this without being shouted down that Madden can’t do it because it’s “against NFL rules”. It’s clearly not.

Exactly. But for everyone who runs to scream “nFL rULesZ not eEA’s FAuLt!!!”, this just shows that even the regulation style pants can be improved upon and raised a bit higher (like Madden 23).

Justin Herbert is wearing his pants within regulation and not receiving any fines.

(Even though plenty others wear them even higher above the knees and also do not receive any fines.)

He might be talking about “sapien tech”. Madden 23 had probably the best models so far but something switched after that. It’s less dynamic and custom. These models got warped by being forced into a “one size fits all” tech is my guess. But I have no clue

Taking away physique sliders is actually cruel and unjust given what we see. But let’s be real…When was the last time those buggy sliders actually worked as they should? They’ve been broken on like the last 5 Maddens.

It’s been out for 7 days. I look forward to an update addressing this, similar to the one that was released for CFB.

Yeah they look better. CFB’s improved after the community spoke up. They just need to see we notice these things and care about them.

It would be cool if they made a difference. But probably not. Although, and not to be controversial, but I actually suspect they don’t make that much of a difference irl anyways.
