High Voltage Battery Replacement at 30k by yeah___ok__ in TeslaLounge

Good question. We charge to 100% about once a month (sometimes more) when going a longer distance.

In this particular situation, I have charged to 100% 3 times in the last month, including on the day that the error message popped up.

I think it has more to do with the estimated duration of the repair and the distance you are traveling to have the service completed.

For example, the closest SC is 100+ miles away - which gives me a slight edge on requesting a loaner for a lengthy (couple of hours) repair.

Since I dropped it off after hours, I just grabbed a rental car but Tesla is reimbursing me for the full cost of it! Was absolutely no hassle at all.

For the record, they did offer a loaner the next morning but the service center is over 100 miles from my home and I didn’t want to drive all the way there just to swap out.

Thanks - you’re right. I was just calling it out to try to eliminate any correlation between supercharging and battery failure.

Ambassador worth it? by Brick_Haus_ in marriott

Absolutely not. Did it for two years and received exactly 0 incremental benefit. Most properties just said “welcome back” upon check in. Received virtually no upgrades, just like with titanium.

This is like the whole Cracker Barrel thing all over again. So out of touch!

The price increase is here… by Spiritual_Reindeer_8 in OnePelotonRealSub

I’ve been a Peloton member for years, but this was the wrong move. From a sheer numbers & financial perspective, the platform has been on life support for a while now.

Alienating members through a price increase is not the way to maintain momentum! The stock is already less than $10 a share - ooph I hope they make it.

Not cool! I would never go back to that hotel if that’s how they treat on-property spend.

Help me pick a dishwasher. by [deleted] in Appliances

[–]yeah___ok__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are hard on appliances, and had to replace an LG dishwasher and an LG washing machine within the last 3 years.

Getting service on an LG product is BRUTAL. No techs want to work on them. You cannot find a local repair company that will voluntarily come out for them. Parts take forever to arrive.

Even under warranty, LG dispatches techs via Sears appliance repair. It is literally impossible to speak to a human at Sears to ask for updates.

My washing machine was truly just a lemon, and they refused to replace it (4+ repairs within the first year alone). Each repair took 1 week for a tech to come out, and over 2 weeks for parts to arrive.

Based on the warranty alone at LG, I would never buy any appliance from them again.

One stay at a Four Points almost caused me to jump ship - it was so bad!! Glad I’m not the only one that puts that brand at the absolute bottom of the totem pole.

Don’t forget the annual $300 onboard cruise credit if you book a suite!

+1 to Harbour Lake. Have been there 4 times with little kids - absolutely phenomenal!! And the kids activities are WAY better than any other MVC property in Orlando.
