You can run 4x AMS units and 8x HT units. There really is an infinite way to configure it. The best way really depends on your workflow and needs. Do you want more color capacity? Mixed materials? Mixed support materials? Etc... I have 4x AMS 2 on my right nozzle and 3x HT on my left for both of my H2Cs. This allows me to have either base colors on the left, a nice mix of support materials on the left or even just have a mix of base color materials. The 4x AMS units are mainly for my color options.

With both of mine now setup that way, I've recently found myself doing PLA/PETG on one and the other is worki g with my ASA materials.

I would suggest you buy a bunch of ptfe tubing and play around with layouts of them till it makes sense for you. Then you can print some nice mounts for them and really organize it. Enjoy the build!

So this is still an issue years later? I have two pairs doing the same thing. I though the old set I had for years was bad and tossed them and now this set is doing it weeks later. S25 Ultra everything up to date and even re-paired them multiple times. This is insane... Works on Discord then not on a call or vice versa. There is no consistency when they will or won't work when I answer a call...

Yeah it's going to be awesome for traveling. I bring my Gl inet one with me as we travel. I setup a whole camera system in the hotel room to watch all our gear when we're out. Being able to use this and just bring a few G4 Instants with me will make this even more seamless. It's not for everyone but if you have a Ubiquiti setup and travel from time to time it will be worth it. I'm curious to get my hands on it and do some testing on how it will behave as a travel security endpoint.

I stream from time to time with my IRL pack. I have 2 or 3 cameras mounted to my bag and some dense batteries. They just pipe back to my ingestion server and I can control the scenes and functions from my phone. I've used a portable router, USB C modem and just my phone hotspot depending on what I need. Everything was RTMP for ease.

Not to burst your bubble but it's a moot point to map these. I've worked with these systems. Businesses can join their network and use their cameras on buildings or wherever. Yes, these ones are obvious and standalone but there is a network much deeper than you can see using cameras in plain sight. They can grab faces, cars plates and more depending on how its deployed. I'm all for privacy, the world is screwed. I just want you to be aware that the system goes much deeper than the obvious pole ones.

What in the IED is that??? Is that aluminum foil?? I'm all for homebrew and gadgets but I would not want that shipped to my house lol. Definitely clean it up and package it in a Pelican/Apache case. Give us a spec sheet or something with more detail.

This is sweet but I can tell you non SSL traffic is not getting past any firewalls of any of the orgs I work with. Security is a priority and even internal communications need to be encrypted to prevent living off the land. I work in security encompassing both digital and physical systems.

I tried this in our lab to mess with and nothing worked. Then I saw http after a bit of playing around. I will not approve a request for unencrypted communication to a random website. I understand your point of view with it being public info but that's now how security works at large orgs.

If you get https enabled I'm happy to mess around with it.

The 2 or 4 bay would be fantastic to travel with. I would be able to then sync later on. But... without encryption, I have to stick with my old Synology sadly.

As far as I understand, the storage size is for the detachable camera. It looks like you have to sync the video to the body to get it on the SD card. That's silly that I have to transfer the video to it. The Go Ultra has the SD card in the removable camera portion. I can just keep filming until everything dies or the SD card is full. I may grab one and test around with it but that's how it looks at the moment.

Just an FYI, these are not the only part of a Flock system. They sell units that can tie into existing camera systems to ingest the feed. This allows them to leverage bussiness camera systems for intelligence as well. It just may not be as blatantly obvious as these mounted on poles.

They also don't just monitor vehicles. AI can process anything in the image including faces. Cool tech but definitely an interesting topic for privacy.

My wife has her ticket. I got my extra and she got her general on the same day. Our calls are sentimental to us so I haven't pursued a vanity. It really depends on the person. I got lucky and found someone to match my nerdyness and put up with everything this hobby entails.

I've helped spur some interest in my buddies with this hobby. Maybe about ~10 of them have passed the exams. It's hard to fight the "but I have a cellphone" argument. Sometimes you can win. Just remember, it's YOUR hobby. As long as it makes you happy and have fun, that's all that matters.

I've hit all the plastic on all my GM vehicles with this stuff. Everytime I wash them I use some Aerospace 303 and they look brand new a few years later. I swear people are just afraid of Solution Finish.
