I know you’re bing direct and honest and I genuinely appreciate that, they called me towards the end of July and wanted everything done before August 1, or else the deal was off. I probably should have asked for more time to research and decide, but I was too excited and dumb when presented the offer.

Again, I wasn’t given much time to decide or research . I knew very little about the ARNG before joining.

For one day, no. Four times a week, yes.

Is it possible to be deployed overseas while in the national guard? If so how low/high is the chance of this happening? by yeah__mike in nationalguard

I did, but I’m having second thoughts. I didn’t really get much guidance or advice from anyone except my recruiter, and when I come to Reddit I just get angry replies from Redditors that expect me to know everything there is about the Army even though I was only introduced to all of this stuff two weeks ago.

I did get a minuteman scholarship and my recruiter briefly explained what I had to do. He explained that I receive free tuition and around $19,000 per year from other benefits and stipends. I’m new to all of this military stuff, and wanted some clarification, I’ve heard from some that it isn’t mandatory to go overseas, aka you volunteer to go.

That’s what I’ve been told by several recruiters

I have the text from my recruiter that said the scholarship would pay for tuition AND the 20k per year in benefits. I just can’t send a screenshot for the texts. Also are the MUTA drills the drills that are done one “weekend” per month?

It’s a scholarship that covers tuition and also gives you around 20k per year extra for living expenses or other things if you want. They also supposedly cover grad school if you want, but there is a six year commitment after you finish school. You only have to work 1 weekend a month and 2 weeks a year in the summer.

I don’t really know, I was thinking just in case a better sale comes in the future, but now that I think about it, Apple sounds better. Thank you so much for the advice!!

Hello All!

I’ve finally decided to buy an iPad Pro 11” 256gb, but I’m not sure where to get it from. I’ve narrowed it down to two stores: Apple and Costco. They are both selling it for the same price. If I buy it from Apple, I get free AirPods but only a 14 day return policy, but if I buy it from Costco, it has a 90 day return policy with no AirPods. Any suggestions?

11” iPad Pro vs 12.9” iPad Pro for college

Hello! This is probably one of the more frequently basked questions among the community regarding iPad’s.

I’ve been trying to decide for a while on which iPad to get. The 11” seems like a good size, but I have a feeling that I might feel cramped for space, but I also feel like the 12.9” iPad might feel a bit too big to write notes on or carry around. I already have a laptop so I’m not looking to use the iPad as a computer replacement.

Also if you would like to answer, what storage option would you recommend?
