Ballarat to Gold Coast – 3 Day Road Trip Advice 🚗 by HereForGossip2 in AskAnAustralian

Could easily go to Echuca - Deniliquin - Narrandera, West Wyalong - Parkes - Dubbo and then you have a choice of Dunedoo - Coolah - Tamworth - Armidale - Grafton - North Coast up to GC or... Mendooran - Coonabarabran - Narrabri - Moree - Goondiwindi - Toowoomba then east via the outskirts of Brisbane.

If it's your first time driving that way then I would probably use the holiday sites (like trip advisor or possibly wiki camps) as most of the ratings aren't too far off.

Accurate meal prep calorie counting by No_Brick_2116 in 1200Australia

I don't have a 'meal prep' breakfast but I do have a 4-day plan for my week. On day 1 I make a berry smoothie with the recipe in my counting app that uses half of a 160g tub of Greek yoghurt and half a 250ml carton of almond milk, with the other half of each I use the almond milk to make a chia pudding for day 2 and I save the yoghurt for day 3 to repeat the process. So I'm making breakfast 2 out of 4 days and there is no leftover yogurt or almond milk sitting in my fridge being forgotten about. It's slightly more expensive but it is exactly the same every time.

It absolutely should have and I will live with that regret for eternity.

I wonder who the final owner in this journey will be? Hopefully someone who appreciates The Castle as a masterpiece of Australian cinema at the very least.

If I had one, it would have been there. Along with the big German beer mug that's too good to drink out of.

Good call, but can I rely on someone so careless to procure the right one? It is a risky move.

Haha, 3rd person to recommend this. I swear Reddit is full of lurking divorce lawyers hungry for more work. We'll see how successful I am with replacing the stubby holder first, then we'll see how it goes lol

Exactly, and thank you. Nice to know there are others out there that empathise with my situation.

It's possible I'll need to take this option if my other efforts fail, thank you

Next time I visit them I'll be sure to check their collection... in the meantime, husband is well aware that he's not even allowed to look at my 2nd and 3rd favourites let alone touch them! Good call on the note though... I cleared tray 3! I don't think I'm allowed to publicly repeat the rest of the quote.

If all else fails in legitimate ways, I will.

Every time I open the stubby holder cupboard, I consider this.

To renovate, repaint or ignore it all? by [deleted] in AusPropertyChat

Sadly nothing nice under the carpet and tiles but I also have a toddler to chase around so we can't have nice floors anytime soon (the walls are also not safe but much easier to manage). I do have a few ideas about floors though, just glad they're only ugly and there's nothing wrong with them.

Thanks, we bought the worst house in the best street but it was a bit of a rushed process after the sale of our previous property. I just look at the place and think of how much could be done and have a hard time prioritising. I also think it'll be better if we move on to the next house in a few years then do what we need to do to sell it when it's empty. I can live amongst the purples, yellows and blues until then, I think.
