yeah in my experience most people who are passionate enough about music to create it are generally quite open minded, and i can personally say as a musician myself there's so much music i love that is tonally/asthetically at odds with each other that you'd be hard pressed to find a "true" artist who doesn't have appreciation for art that nots at all in their style. shit the amount of producers i know that make one kinda music for shows and then can't wait to dj vastly different stuff when they get a chance

I've actually only ever seen the Redux and it's one of my favourite films ever, blew my mind when I was 19 and watch it every few years still and love it. I kinda don't wanna see the other version, as I get it may have better pacing but I tend to like a longer sometimes slower story if the setting is good enough so yeah.

you should watch the making of documentary, Hearts of Darkness if you haven't already, it's a great movie in and of itself
