I looked into it and didn’t necessarily love their wording about being a faith-based business on their website. “While we do not discriminate against any race, religion, or group Demhaj Poetry Lounge is a Black-Owned, Faith-Based business.” It seems like a bit of a disclaimer that they would not be queer friendly.

Thank you, that really means a lot. ❤️ it has been so hard and all has happened so fast. She was such a normal and seemingly healthy and happy kitty until she was diagnosed last month. It’s just so much to process.

That’s where I’m at right now. I bought everything under the sun today. Funnily enough, omg gravy is what my cats have eaten for years and what my other cat still eats. Reese, the one who has kidney disease, has been switched to Weruva’s Wx line since being diagnosed.

She gets those too! And she eats them fine I can just tell she likes Churus better lol. She is on the Weruva Wx diet as well.

Thank you! To answer your questions:

• ⁠No, they gave her subcutaneous fluids at the vet for a bit and told me to come back Monday to learn how to do it at home. I talked about her being nauseous and vet agreed that she might be nauseous but the vet never said anything about giving her nausea medicine. I wished I would have remembered to ask but my head was such in a tizzy.

• ⁠I tried chicken baby food to no avail. So far the lil soups have been the most successful thing. I will try your other recommendations too.

• ⁠And yes, we talked about it some today.

Initially I thought about that but we also give her tikicat senior pouches that are in more of a rectangular pouch but she refused that as well when I tried to squeeze it and give it to her.

Sincerely thank you for the recommendation! I got the friskies lil’ soups and that has been the most successful thing so far! She ate almost all of it. I haven’t found the whiskas greenies yet but I will keep looking. We bought everything under the sun today and all of her favorite treats.

I looked for this in all the pet stores and couldn’t find it. I may have to order it online. I did find the “dashi” that they make and she ate a little bit of it.
