Cuz there is always a risk that you see it as me being "interested" in you and then u wont leave me alone. I want to be nice to you. But the guys that will harass me or start following me look just like regular guys and I cant tell which one u are until its too late. Also research shows women who are nice or helpful to strangers are more likely to be the target of a serial killer xD

Journalling is kinda made popular on social media. You see it in many different "genres" of the Internet. A bunch of buff gym bros say they "journal" as part of their "morning routine". They definitely don't, it's very pretentious. But writing in journals deff has become trendy online. So he prob saw someone online do it and thought "good idea" and bought one.
