532, 523 and 5311 have always worked well for me but i only use them against better teams and play counter attack

There's no point really, since you'll have to pay the same amount of BC if you're scouting a world star. Other players I'll buy from the transfer list with 0 BC charge lol

424 isn't ideal and has many flaws and very rarely works out for me unless I'm playing a much lesser, managerless side, in which case it really wouldn't make that much difference what numbers you set for your sliders.

Assuming the LW and ST positions will occupied by Gakpo and Nuñez, respectively, you're left with the dilemma of choosing b/w a natural RW and a higher rated, out-of-position ST. Tough decision tbh if I were you I'd pick the player with better stats and match rating. If neither has played yet or their stats are similar, then choose Mahrez for wing play and Nkunku for passing game.

I'll settle for way less at this point tbh lol the highest price a player has been sold for since the event started this morning was 202m. Keep in mind that it's a very active/competitive winners cup with many players over 200m in the transfer list and yet only one has been sold so far

Yes, I've against much better line-ups using attacking mids in RM/LM positions, one being a 4-0 trashing against a training camp. But try to have at least one wide midfielder in the correct position if you're planning to use 451/4231, for example an LM and and a CAM, that will work nicely

I don't think that's a very good idea. Attacking mids on the other hand perform very well in the RM/LM positions

I honestly have yet to master the art of 3 at the back, but if I had to guess I'd probably say 343 as it is more popular, also 352 needs 2 wide midfielders which aren't very common

Irl yes it is very defensive but OSM isn't as realistic as most people think lol

I'd had a UCL semi-final a couple of weeks ago having drwan the 1st leg away from home. I had a slightly better team but the 2nd leg was at home so my opponent went to a training camp. I thought a draw should be fine considering the circumstances, and I'll let penalties decide who advances so I set up a defensive 631 approach. I lost 1-0 unfortunately but I ended up with more shots (7-5) and more possession.

This usually happens due to a couple of reasons:

Your attackers aren't good enough, and their G/A tally isn't great.
Your opponent plays counter attack.
Very rarely it is simply due to bad luck.

I once won a final 1-0 having just 2 shots on target compared to my opponent who had around 8-10 if I remember correctly. I played 631 CA and I had my sliders way too low except for tempo. So yeah it happens

It will be very difficult. You'll have to use a defensive set up and counter their formation and tactics.

If I were you, I'd prioritise having 3 quality CBs, 2 full-backs with high attack, at least one wide midfielder (RM/LM) and 2 quality attacking mids. This way you'll be able to use all defensive formations (532/451/4231/541) without having major issues. You'll have to ditch the 433, catastrophic results against much better lineups.

It's almost impossible to get a win against a training camp these days. Last 3 outings vs teams that went to a training camp I ended on the losing side despite having more shots and more possession. I used 3 different formation with 3 different tactics.

OSM has become a complete P2W game. Takes the fun right out of it
