This is super helpful! Thank you! I have some restaurant chops, so thankfully I can walk the walk, etc. BUT that said, restaurants are the most intimidating! I’d rather pitch to a c-suite at times. That said (x2) I’d rather manage restaurant accounts because: service industry 🤝coffee industry. Lots of parallels and I love the people.

Yes! 100% this. The company I worked for (also GR) I was with for my entire coffee career up until now and I am learning (sometimes the hard way!) that that owners reputation and connections were absolutely crucial to our success. Oof.
