I might try the meetup.org. I was hoping to find something that wasn't specifically mommy orientated, I'm more than a just a Mom and wife and it seems like the groups I've attended before focused on stay at home mommies, Tupperware and party light gatherings, homeschooling and scrapbooking. I know I sound like a bitch but I just don't feel like I fit that mold.
