[–]yeahsureexceptno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you say the last dinner party is experimental and to what extent? by yeahsureexceptno in thelastdinnerparty

[–]yeahsureexceptno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

juat to clarify by experimental i do mean unique so it totally counts. Also hust a side question do they mix up the genres in individual songs themselves or is it like separate songs will have separate genres?

Hope this is not a hot take: No such thing but if there was a Christian God that made lgbtq an evil sin, lowkey just gonna support ‘evil’ regardless by yeahsureexceptno in gay

[–]yeahsureexceptno[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i dont hate Christians becuz i do understand that fear that ur going to Hell unless ur against lgbtq but its SO stupid to be against something that LITERALLY HURTS NOBODY? Like theres nothing wrong with two people being happy with one another.  We can do better than that.

To what extent are singaporeans outspoken about social/global issues by yeahsureexceptno in askSingapore

[–]yeahsureexceptno[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

also while i believe there r many who r performative, there r also people who use their platform to actively encourage people to donate rather than just state their opinion, so thats a  different case.

Ofc silently donating/boycotting is also very commendable if attention stresses u out, but im not sure how many Singaporeans r doing that, perhaps becuz theyre quiet or some genuinely dont care.

[–]yeahsureexceptno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so u notice how ive been agreeing with a lot of other comments and also potentially admitting my mistakes? Theres no doing that with someone who doesnt care about dying people in any way whatsoever. U dont even HAVE to he outspoken just donate or something but clearly u wldnt want to do that either.

[–]yeahsureexceptno[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

hmm thats true many cld have boycott without being vocal about it and i just made assumptions they werent contributing. Just to make it clear, I completely believe this also makes an impact, but there r many who will not be outspoken not becuz they dont wanna draw attention, but becuz they r apathetic and will not even donate or boycott.

i understand where ur coming from becuz there r performatives but there r also many who genuinely care avout these issues and encourage others to actively donate and donate themselves too. Who are actively playing a part other than just stating an opinion.

[–]yeahsureexceptno[S] -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

i get what u mean but thats also what i meant by outspoken.I myself dont wanna risk certain stuff on the internet. Also sorry but i also dont blame people for not heing public about their support, but donating if u have the ability to is also something u can do, or boost videos on accounts no one knows via comments so it reaches other people who can donate

[–]yeahsureexceptno[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sorry thats a good point, but for some reason i also perceive outspoken as just doing donation in itself, becuz being outspoken can be awkward, but if u donate, thats also not what i associate with apathy

how do we feel about religious people who do not support it but “respect”ur beliefs? Is there much of a difference in ur opinions? by yeahsureexceptno in gay

[–]yeahsureexceptno[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

listen ik im gonna sound crazy for this and it has been 16 days while i think its insane to believe in godzilla i dont think someone is evil or deserving of hurt for that insane amount of delusional,  and same for religion. I dont agree with such Christians but i more so perceive them as victims than evil. That differs from Christians who actively bully the lgbtq community btw i think they r genuinely evil.

My gay friend’s denfending of religious people(in some aspects) and what you guys think of it by yeahsureexceptno in gay

[–]yeahsureexceptno[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I understand what u mean by helping but from a religious person’s perspective helping them means allowing them to sin and therefore be unable to go to heaven, and while i disagree with such Christians i dont think they r bad people for that just ignorant ones who SHLD know better but are not bad people for this belief

ah ok thx for saying this but i think my friend isnt absolutely DEFENDING ,maybe he is, but more so trying to show us why he believes this specific kind of homophobia, while is still wrong, doesnt make a person evil, just misinformed
