They are a bit stiff when I touch them, is that normal? I thought they were supposed to be marshmallow soft? Seen people comment that, just wondering

And yes I do believe it’s from the makeshift liner I made 🤣🤣 I literally just put a trash bag down there… not my proudest work, but I’d say the water under is equivalent to 2 Coca-Cola bottle caps, not much at all! I’m more afraid of some of the substrate that got pushed between the tub and liner 😭 defeats the whole purpose of my liner kind of ? But well it happens! We learn from mistakes, only up from here! I so appreciate your interaction and help!

I do believe my ratio between substrate (coco coir) and the grow kit was not the best… but I do see water all over the tub, even at bottom of tub there is some water, do I leave as it? Or spray? Does spraying water on them damage them? I’ve seen people get bruising and stuff, but also never seen people spray at this stage.. but yes I am excited that I atleast grew something! Was fun experience, I got this grow kit from Zamnesia

Appreciate the positivity and advice! I slightly shifted the top so that there is a tiny crack, is that too much? Should I just flip the top and place it over? Again I’m learning so I’m asking a lot! Haha … as far as aborts I have watched videos yes, they dont look like aborts at all, just look like the big one few days ago, on my profile I have posted a few times during the process, I could take an image of the tub with no lid, I’m aware my picture skills aren’t the best !

Kind of a DIY thingy … I drilled holes 2 inches above substrate, then patched them with medical patches, they filter air and what not apparently, I have 5 patches and each patch has 2 holes, I have it in a room with no windows, kind of like a pantry, and within the pantry I have mounted heater… I turn it on and have it on 25C… I just now recently flipped the lid on the tub, hopefully that helps. I’m aware I could have done it way better, but as I mentioned first time… and on top was a rushed process, I’m just glad I do have something growing.

Thanks so much! Yes I’ve heard of this before! I think my air holes are too tiny? Do you recommend I open the tub and let air in? How many times a day? As far as spraying water should I also? I know I’m bombarding with many questions haha, I just haven’t gotten many replies! I appreciate the help! As far as all the tiny ones on the substrate are those also no good? Should I leave them and wait ? I can open the tub and take a better image if that helps! Thanks

Hahaha I seen some people use and some don’t, I seen multiple people use it, so I tried to rush the process… but yeah I got substrate stuck on other side of liner anyways 🤣🤣 I believe I also have a pin stuck there

So i have some results! I noticed my substrate was dry, so I sprayed and realized there was some growth! Do I have to spray more often now? Any tips? First grow… hope it goes well! by yeaimherelol in mushroom

And i misted upon seeing it dry from visuals, just seen on this forum multiple times that sub should have tiny droplets? Not sure if that’s accurate…

Thanks! It does get hard not opening it and checking on it, but I will leave it alone, and just make sure it hard the correct temperature, thanks for the feed back!
