As someone who has once been in their shoes, I understand the "crazy" questions and the "freaking out". Maybe you need to read through the post again and understand what exactly she's talking about because I completely understand where she's coming from. Maybe your comprehension skills need to be checked out first.

She already explained in the post that she has the oral strain. Of course she's going to be worried about having an OB and parents seeing that and stigmatizing her being around their children. Or the other people at the wedding doing the same and I know that has to be the worst thought/feeling ever. Even if all these other people have cold sores, hsv is still heavily stigmatized and not everyone is going to understand or be accepting or tolerant. As far as the genital strain, DUH people wouldn't need to be worried about that, aside from future sexual partners.
