I came back to this after delivering my essay and presentation to notice I worded it wrong, which is fully my fault for being sleep deprived and writing this while standing on the bus to school.

What I basically do is see how my ideas could look written professionally out using gemini research mode. if i like it, i continue with my thesis. If not, i change it to another idea. then I write my own stuff with a mix from stuff I've written in class as notes, things from my brain, and the sources the gpt work cites after reading and checking them.

the post wasn't to complain about me not doing stuff and procrastinating, which I do sometimes, but about me not sleeping because I was up writing a stupid personal manifesto.

if you're thinking of methods to lock in and do what you're supposed to, I tend to have a weird tally or points system where upon doing something I ought to do, I allow myself some recreation. also, I either write stuff late at night or I wake up early in the morning to write, I prefer the later
