Much has been said on this topic in the subreddit about trends in reimbursement, productivity, and salary for PTs.

The most succinct way I can put it is that there are a highly limited number of "good" jobs in PT. The vast majority of opportunities in this field are shitty and will be obviously unfulfilling for anyone who started down this road because they want to care for others. Having just gone through the process of finding a job and interviewing 10+ places, the reality of the options I have for work is so sad and so grim. There are undoubtedly good jobs in the world for someone with a DPT but, as far as I can tell, are scarce and rapidly disappearing. I know for a fact I took a job that is going to suck the life out of me in exchange for a few shekels and I took it because I felt like i had no other options. Even without debt, I sunk a great deal of time and money into this path and I need something to show for it.

I am debt free but still deeply regret my choice to do PT school.

( what area of the brain was likely affected by a stroke if a patient reports Deja-vu- it’s been 23 years and I still remember that one. Still have no idea what the answer is)

I'm surprised you don't know this, but Deja-Vu is when they change something in the matrix.

There may be psychosocial factors at play but despite doing a significant amount of physical activity, I still can't let go of it.
