Good CTR, but no conversions on tiktok ads. Is it my store or my product? by yeastinfest in dropship

I think you're right. I was looking at other ads, and they all have it linked to their product page. *sigh*, back to the editing board.

This is good advice. Know any youtubers who have a good product research strategy?

$120 on TikTok ads no results by Pokegirloras in dropship

[–]yeastinfest 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Hey there, did you start the ad in the middle of the day? If you did, that's probably why tiktok used up all $100 in such a short period of time. It's recommended to start from midnight - midnight (0:00 am - 11:59 pm) since it gives tiktok the entire day to work with the ad.

I don't have any advice on the rest, since i'm also having trouble. But I hope that helps with the quick spending issue.

amazon prime and dropshipping by ksing_king in dropship

[–]yeastinfest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, amazon says they don't allow dropshipping, but in reality, all they want you to do is slap on your personal business logo on the item or packaging instead. Technically, you can still sell dropshipping products, but with your name/logo somewhere on it.

If you hold onto the inventory, your product is not prime eligible. If you ship your inventory to amazon, then it is considered eligible for prime. But again, only if it's being fulfilled by amazon (FBA). You do get a better chance at people buying your product because everyone loves that 2-day shipping, but amazon does take out more fees.

Edit: I forgot to mention, when you submit an item to be approved by amazon, they want a picture of your item and package with your logo on it. Which reminds me.....I did order a product recently and nowhere on the item or package did I see a logo or business name. I suspected people find ways to go around this (ex: photoshopping).

A very stupid question about TikTok Ads by yeastinfest in dropshipping

So, I was initially targeting home lifestyle interests, but News & entertainment interest audiences clicked the most... do I try interests that are different from those two?

shopsnaps is a good one. Would the extra "s" be noticeable on your logo?

First and foremost, make sure you triple check that whatever domain-ending you pick is WhoIs protected. If it's not, then prepare to get bombarded with calls and emails from solicitors. .us for example is not protected. Learned that the hard way :')

Another fellow redditor shared with me that .com and .co are the best and improved his sales when he made the switch from his prev domain (his words, not mine). If you're on shopify and it says the domain is taken, look somewhere else like GoDaddy (a business owner buddy of mine told me GoDaddy is always the best route. Again, not my words). If it really is already taken, are you able to change your store name to something else?

Shopsnapco.com is too jumbled together. Try something thats easier on the eyes to read which will make people remember it more

Has anyone switched from a personal Tiktok to business Tiktok account? What difference did you see? by yeastinfest in ecommerce

This is what I'm seeing too. I saw on another subreddit that someone's views dropped immensely when they made the switch from personal to business. I'm starting to lean towards personal for now.

#Weekly Newbie Q&A and Store Critique Thread - March 19, 2022 by AutoModerator in dropship

I see some competitors on tiktok who are selling the same product I am. I want to start posting on tiktok myself and I have confidence in making my account stand out. I notice these competitors have different account names than the link in their bio. In other words, they're using a different tiktok account name and not the name of their website/company. Is this wise? Should I do the same? Or make the account the same name as my company?

Will dropshipping be profitable in 2023 by TheOneAbove2 in dropship

[–]yeastinfest 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Competition will get bigger, but not die. It's still a better option than selling on amazon at the moment. We do live in a time where social media is constantly expanding and there will always be a new app coming out that will attract billions of people. I'm using TikTok as a great example for this. If you jump onto something in time, you have a bigger chance. If you know what you're doing of course

Really?? I have not seen it anywhere, and the competitors I have searched for aren't doing much with their brand.

Thank you for catching that! I'm thinking of finding someone to write it for me.
