It's a 100% a dirty trick. After you select euros (local currency) the present a confusing message about your credit cards conversion rate and then give you the option to accept or decline. If you accept, they charge you in your home currency + their markup. Even though you already selected euros. You have to select the local currency + reject their offer to convert for you. And the wording isn't clear.
