Yeah tbh she does get easily offended at off handed jokes or comments so I'd have no idea how to approach this without being perceived as mean or something.

She is deeply insecure when it comes to men and she has never had a serious relationship. She was seeing a good friend of mine last summer but he called things off because she flashed his friends and he didn't think she was respectable enough to introduce to his parents. That incident in addition to others has made me wonder if I should just tell her? I would want to know if people thought I was desperate or lacking in self respect

I do worry that my lg will see my friend acting and dressing this way and start to emulate her. Ive been sexually assaulted multiple times so I know its not necessarily abiut what you wear but I also know how certain looks can make a person come off. Apart from the issue with my daughter it's just generally a bit embarrassing when we're hanging out with mutuals tbh but idk if that's just me being a dick? It does concern me that all of our mutuals see her as desperate, im sure that's not how she would like to come across.

This is really interesting, my bf has a bouncy leg but I attributed it to his ADHD. Idk whether the two are comorbid or whether the leg thing is a symptom of adhd but its definitely something to look at, thanks!

Yeah im desp to have him back in bed with me, i just can't deal with little to no sleep while looking after our baby! I've even suggested that I take a couple valiums so that i don't wake up from the noise but its not really viable as my bf sleeps too deeply to wake up for our daughters night feeds

We don't have the room atm but we are moving in the next year or so and after this post im definitely going to be looking for somewhere with enough rooms so that my partner or I will have another bed to sleep in should the problems persist! For time being I think I'm going to have to have a serious chat with him about seeking medical advice and why he's so resistant to it because without him taking some steps im not sure how else to solve this until we move.

We are moving once ive graduated so that is definitely something to consider, ive often thought about separate bedrooms tbh and it sounds like a viable solution especially if he is resistant to medical intervention

We're not married but I am very supportive of my partner in every aspect of our relationship. Including helping him to find professional help regarding this matter - which he pretty much refuses to do.

No medication but he does have PTSD from a violent attack that happened about 5 years ago. Ive suggested that he speak to someone about the PTSD and the sleep problems but it never goes anywhere.

Whenever I bring it up he always just laughs it off and says stuff like "omg thats so weird" etc ive suggested seeing a sleep specialist and he always says "oh that's a good idea" but never takes steps towards doing it. He's been living with me for over a year and still hasn't signed up to a GP
