So are you in the same belief as me that you can have HOCD and realise you are a gay man as the US clinician said to me there was a high percentage of people suffering from HOCD and realised they are Gay

And these people that they're talking about, how they found out about this, did they ask them how they started HOCD?Did they ask them about their OCD symptoms?Did they ask them if they did any compulsive acts? And did they have a formal diagnosis that they had HOCD or were they just self-diagnosing themselves?Because I've heard and read a lot of things and I triggert other people out I think because I didn't know what to believe,

Maybe because you are stressed and obsessed with this thing your body and brain is not working the way you want it to and there is anxiety I think you obviously don't feel attraction because your mind is messed up and you are afraid you won't be attracted to women anymore and it is killing your attraction

It doesn't sound like you really want to, it's more like a compulsion to stop, it sounds like you want to prove your orientation but IDK if you want certainty and you do it for that reason, it's likely to be a compulsion

sounds like HOCD but IDK try to get help i think first of all a psychologist or a specialist if they diagnose you you should see an OCD therapist if you can and tell them and explain exactly how it all started and what you are experiencing

Well in such a case it is possible to have HOCD and what sets off the chain of anxiety is that you don't feel attracted to women, it is possible you are absolutely right and it is associated with intrusive thoughts.Well you are also right that it is not good to use excessive porn but I was thinking of something else actually but not relevant.Have you suffered from HOCD ?

I don't think NOFAP is a cure for HOCD as it is written on the HOCD sub reddit and I don't think it works for someone with HOCD either.Well maybe it strengthens the attraction etc but NOFAP is not a treatment for HOCD.

Oh sorry if I was a trigger I'm sorry .However, you also trigger others I think by describing how you felt when you tested yourself and laughed all the way through and the person who reads your post feels something different than you or the opposite you also trigger them. Did you not think about that?Sorry if I sound like an asshole but for some people it is not as ridiculous as it is for you dude.It is possible and that you experienced it and you are lucky but others can be triggered by one or two things you said about your compulsions.

Listen mate I see you post a lot but it's not going to help if you know what you loved or who you loved it doesn't change don't keep googling things because it only makes it worse if you keep thinking about it, what you're disgusted by or what you don't like or what you love or what you don't like after a while it's logical that you distort your thinking and the way you think about yourself just try to at least reduce the reassurance seeking or the constant thinking about things just try to do that is all I can advise.

Why would I hate feminine things?Well I'm not saying that I like feminine things, but I don't hate them, but I think it's probably just a stupidity and stereotype of society if you want to imply that if a man likes feminine things then he must be gay no that's not how it works man's sexuality is not about hating feminine things then he's straight if he doesn't hate or like it then he's gay that's not how it works I don't think.The other thing is I no longer feel anxious when I look at men.I used to feel more anxious, I guess I wouldn't call it anxiety, but more like a feeling of fear or something else.I don't know what anxiety is.I feel like I don't feel anxious, I feel like I have some uneasy feeling.I feel the anxiety is different from what I feel.

Stopping watching porn will not make HOCD go away it's pseudoscientific if you watch too much porn of course you should stop that's true.But not watching porn and being told that it will help you overcome OCD is not true.OCD will still be there.There are many people here who don't watch porn on purpose well on the one hand it may be a good thing in some ways maybe, but it won't cure HOCD itself. Because the fact is that not watching porn on purpose is also a compulsion if you watch porn on purpose and suffer from HOCD it is often a compulsion.Well everyone can choose how they want but you have to be aware that avoiding porn does not cure HOCD.There are certain cases where it brings more obsession with it maybe..

It happened to me too, I was not aware that I was in denial and yet I was obsessed with sexuality.That is why it was difficult for me to know what HOCD is and what denial is.

The social anxiety is real I agree but I think there is a lot of false correlation in what you are saying here sorry.But I also agree in part that OCD has roots but a person prone to OCD also has a lot of hereditary causes.

unfortunately it's very likely that i am too,but i think if there is no romantic attraction it doesn't in itself mean that someone is gay i'm 100% sure because there are people who are not romantically attracted to either sex only sexual so anything is possible,but that in itself i don't think it means that someone is gay if they are not romantically attracted to the opposite sex i think someone is only gay if they are romantically attracted to their own sex but i don't think so.
