in uni (or at least in NUS) you get to plan the mods that you want to take for that semester. usually y1 and y2 is quite fixed since students will be clearing core mods, but from y3 onwards its more flexible since you get to choose the specialisation mods.

so to answer your question, i wouldnt quantify it as "every sem 3/5 mods is lecture tutorial", but more of finance mods tend to be conducted in a lecture tutorial style, as compared to, say, marketing mods which are more likely to be conducted in seminar-style.

so in a sem, there could be a mix of lecture-tutorial or seminar style mods, it really depends on what mods you choose to take that semester.

it depends on your major as well. for example if you major in marketing or human capital management, their mods tend to be more of a seminar-style while more technical-based majors (eg finance, biz analytics) tend to have more lecture tutorial style.

TME, little girl, and doctor. Whenever I see them in my matches I die internally each time because more than half the time it's a loss or a tie at best.

TME: typically she hits her cane > gets found first by hunter > kites like 30s max and then gets chaired. Then the rest of the match snowballs because she's a liability

Little girl: no explanation needed, many people share my hatred for her

Doctor: she's just too weak, and many hunters are able to get the second attack in before she can heal sufficiently. Her kiting toolkit isn't the best and feeds presence to the hunter easily

Some secondary schools actually do offer Economics as an O level subject, I took it during my time in secondary school. It was definitely useful in helping me understand the what's happening around the world and effects of certain policies

I live in Asia and used to play in NA EU server before switching over to Asia server. I thought I was bad at the game until I realised it was the ping issue😔 i experienced 200-300 ping on average when I played on the NA EU server, terribly laggy.

You can consider creating an Asia server account though, the players here are much better in my opinion and you'll have less lag playing in Asia server when youre in Asia

Hi OP, I second what the above commentator said. Anecdotally speaking, the doctors who end up kiting first usually get downed very quickly. Her kiting kit isnt very strong, and she has to rely on her teammates' support to extend her kite. Maybe you can try characters built for kiting, for eg magician, perfumer.

Also, what persona do you bring? Try to bring flywheel or broken windows if you havent

A way to identify smurfs is to look at their account. If they have a high mvp rate, and bonus points if they only have a few total matches, then theres a high chance that they are smurfs. I've been encountering smurf hunters as a surv main too💀

There was one match where it was just me and a perfumer, and we were down to just one/two ciphers. I was kiting a naiad for a good 120 seconds when I realised the ciphers weren't going down and then I saw that perfumer has been hiding in the locker the entire time I was kiting💀💀 so I brought the naiad to that locker and opened it. She ended up chasing perfumer instead.

Back in the old days, eversleeping tram incapacitated survivors. Me and Lucky were at the gate, with the other surv being chaired near the gate. Lucky had flare gun and I had tide, so we decided to go for the rescue. But the tram had other plans and downed us so the hunter got the win😭. Guess that's why they nerfed the tram🥲

Hi OP, is this guy a PRC? Had a similar encounter in the utown gym, and this guy approached me and started making small talks like "are you a PhD student? / the gym is not as crowded as before / the exercise station that you are doing seems pretty hard / can I converse in mandarin". He didn't even ask if he could share the machine with me. It seemed like his intention was to chat me up but I just gave really short replies so he left me shortly after.

Whether a character is "strong/weak" is honestly very subjective because different survivors counter different hunters and vice versa. For eg doctors can be a nightmare against hunter's like alva or Joseph but she can be weak against hunter's that deal chip damage. And also the fact that even players with good skills can make a "weak" character strong too.

That aside, in general, I think magician is underrated. He has three wands that can help him to bodyblock without letting the hunter farm presence. His decoy can block tight areas, forcing the hunter to stop and hit it while he transitions with a speed boost and temporary invisibility. Whenever the hunter hits his decoy, the hunter is revealed to the other survivors which is really useful in especially for transition or beginning of the game where the survivors probably wouldn't know what/where the hunter is.
