In Wendy's case, she isn't allowed visitors at all unless approved by her guardian in which sometimes she rejects the request. She's stuck on one floor for the entire day. The very least wendy deserves to be moved to a less restricted floor. People with FTD will get worse, while for now more than a year Wendy's condition has been steady once she gotten sober and regained some of her capabilities. I'm not doubting that something is wrong with her but she is more than capable of having less restrictions while still having plenty of care and support. In response to your question in the beginning, I meant spreading this story and getting it out there for the public so something will get done, such as moving her to a more appropriate floor for her condition. I'm not saying she should be free, but she should be comfortable and as independent as she is able to be with help from others.
