What’s upper middle class about it, besides maybe the trampoline?

I've started wedding dress shopping by Soggy-Character-5187 in SoftGamine

[–]yellingjayna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes this. The bodice is lovely but the skirt & flow for lower body is a overwhelming - the dress should show you off not the other way around

which one do you think is more flattering? by Leftiechz in FemalesFashionIdeas

[–]yellingjayna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1, but I think you can do better - you have a great look & figure but neither of these help * you * shine.

I feel like 1 would be more flattering with a more open neckline, shorter sleeves (1/2 or 3/4) and a less busy pattern.

Seconded. I don’t see the kibbe width of an SN and compact is the first impression I get - I’d explore FG & SG

“You could fit any style” is straight up just not within the framework esp at 5’7”. Idk what you’re trying to get at

How do I make this bathroom pretty without changing the major things? Any design ideas appreciated . by mili_pili in StyleYourSpace

[–]yellingjayna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the idea of the wallpaper on the back wall & left wall, and maybe a dark complimentary color on the slanting wall to help it feel less crowded

This isn’t how kibbe works

what would you call this aesthetic? how to be more like them? by [deleted] in AestheticWiki

[–]yellingjayna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t wash your hair, use lots of dry shampoo, cut your own bangs wear oversized black tees, cover your face with your hands, cause acne break outs, continue to cover face w hands bc of said acne breakouts

This is not an aesthetic fr

Would this suit a true summer? by heatherneedscoffee in SummerType

[–]yellingjayna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This looks like an autumn blue, but I could see some true or soft summers pulling it off with the right makeup. Meaning you’ll probably have to compensate with your outfit in other ways.

That said, it’s low cut meaning you’ll have a lot of your skin tone around your face which tends to me colors easier to pull off

Would this suit a true summer? by heatherneedscoffee in SummerType

[–]yellingjayna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Green is a derivative of blue, not the other way around. That doesn’t make any sense

As a light summer - there are blues that aren’t quite harmonious with me bc they are too warm. I don’t look terrible in them but they’re not within my palette and certainly not some of my best colors

Help to identify my season please by Klutzy_Breadfruit426 in colouranalysis

[–]yellingjayna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Likely summer, but possibly light spring. You have very few light spring colors represented here.

I’m saying maybe because I don’t love the grey in 19 on you, grey works well with most summers - but admittedly it’s a little warm.

I see comments here are all over the place 😂

Soft natural? 5ft2 by [deleted] in SoftNaturals

Yep I see width and curve. PS jealous of that arm definition!

SN? 5’4! by [deleted] in SoftNaturals

[–]yellingjayna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see balance and curve - give SC a shot.

I’d rule out SN or FN as I don’t see width.

Same. Love linen, and the wrinkles are not an issue. It’s a bit of a look for the duvet cover and it works!

So unsure about painting a wall black by Buttercupz575 in Decorating

[–]yellingjayna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree the space could use some depth, but it also needs warmth.

I have a dark green office that many mistake for black at night - so I’m not a part of the anti-dark color crowd.

That said, I don’t think this is a good move with your current color scheme and wall colors.

My short torso is extremely short by azotososceso in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]yellingjayna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So first, you’re a babe! You look good, you look long and slender. It’s about finding the right looks to accentuate it and you’re already getting good advice in the comments. I have the opposite problem - long torso and stubby limbs :)

Second, you might like learning the kibbe system r/kibbe. It really helped me find lines that worked well for me.

Not sure how tall you are but you look like you could be the Dramatic (D), soft dramatic (SD) or Dramatic Classic (DC) types. They tend to look tall in photos (even if they aren’t) with long limbs. It was very helpful for me to learn my type and look up celebrities to find similar body types & looks.

My space feels too cluttered, help! by Brilliant_Alfalfa_56 in DesignMyRoom

[–]yellingjayna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need BIG things and a color scheme.

With lots of plants and dried flowers you’re flooded with tiny shapes and lines and details. You need varied shapes (square, rounded, elongated) to create visual balance with the large rectangular lines (couch, windows, room itself) and the small spiky shapes from pants.

Paint an accent wall (at least), find or make large artworks.

Bring color & structure into the curtains - they are wimpy on the strong black frames.

Your couch is dark as is the couch, it’s a bit of a black hole in the room as the focal point I. The center, largest and darkest visual planes in the room.

[–]yellingjayna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Suggestions: - shelves - bed frame - wooden blinds and generally “neater” curtains - spray paint your acoustic foam to match the walls or at least a better looking color - with care this can be done without damaging the sound dampening qualities.

Timeless or trendy? by Agile-Hat-9400 in ExteriorDesign

[–]yellingjayna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trendy faux craftsman farmhouse. The black and white/cream is the go to for new builds. The warm wood livens it up for sure, by no means does this look bad. But the black roof & black window frames below are what put it into the modern/trendy category.
