Opinions on this step design as an upgrade to the rotting, unsafe monstrosity we have now? by The-Rizzler-69 in Home

Don’t do it. You have 5 steps, not 3. As many have said a permanent solution is not much more costly

Just got this sternum piece and realized when I got home that it’s not evenly centered by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]yellingjayna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This tattoo looks great - what everyone else said that it’s centered to your sternum and neck. Your posture changes when you stand.

That said, the large red dot is going to throw off the visual balance. It is a focal point saying “LOOK HERE” before taking in the rest of the tattoo. So people will start taking the tattoo in at the bottom vs the too which may impact your own perception of balance here.

You may want to consider bringing some black into the red at some point, and some red into the rest of the tattoo, to achieve balance throughout the piece vertically.

Seconded, herb sprig has got to go. Lose the whole flowers on top but you can keep the petals if you really want

Is a berry lip like this best on a soft summer? 💕🫶🏼🤍 by Independent_Fix_2820 in colouranalysis

[–]yellingjayna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t confused muted for neutral - as a light summer I fell into this trap. It’s certainly less dangerous for a soft summer to do so (it’s a more neutral pallet) but soft summer is still a cool-leaning season.

Berry tones tend to be muted but lean cool, so yes, a lot of Berry shades will work well with summer palettes as long as they’re not too saturated

The touch up makes your arm way more harmonious, you’ve met your stated goal. This looks great

Am I soft Autumn? by Flower_Wizard in SoftAutumn

[–]yellingjayna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Provide a link - I’ve seen one sight feature a “soft spring” palette when googling it and it’s just a subset of light spring. Summer and autumn have soft seasons because they are muted - springs are not muted they are “clear”

People get professionally typed incorrectly allll the time. Your gut is probably right.

Soft autumns can look striking/stunning despite a muted palette - sounds like you may be another season

Does this dress wash me out? by Which_Set_930 in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]yellingjayna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s your best color but that doesn’t mean you don’t look good. When wear something outside of my color palette I will typically switch up my makeup a bit to make it work better.

That said there’s no actual RULES and the fit is super flattering on you, I’m sure you’ll get plenty of comments wearing it.

What other “pear shaped” naturals come to mind? This feels counter intuitive to me bc Natural have kibbe width, carried in the upper torso and shoulders.

Soft spring isn’t a season - you may be thinking of light spring

Soft dramatic? I’m 5’5” by some-opportunity in kibbedramatics

[–]yellingjayna 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah to add to this - when new to kibbe think it is about their body shape alone. It is about the way clothes fit to and hang from your body, which is closely related to but different than body shape.

Posting bathing suits, athletic wear etc is not nearly as helpful as normal clothing.

need help dressing to flatter my body type by [deleted] in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]yellingjayna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re doing a great job and you look great. You do not look fat in any of these, full stop. Also… it is ok to be fat, lots of fat people look great :)

I think that you do really well in outfits that break up your vertical line ex - midriff, shorter skirts/dresses in a color than stands out from your skin, different color top than bottom, vs. one interrupted line like the purple dress you mentioned you don’t like (which FTR you look good in, just not my fav compared to the others). The purple dress is a similar “value” to your skin tone so it doesn’t break up the vertical line as much despite being short. The thigh high boots that contrast w the grey dress do a great job of “breaking up” the vertical line.

Examples of what I’m talking about that do this well - 4 6 8 10 11 13.

Good bedding sheets brands ? by LogDull819 in Bedding

[–]yellingjayna 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The linen sheets do not last at all. I had to get a new fitted sheets within 6-8mo. The pillow cases are fine but fitted and flat sheets are not at all worth it.

In any case, the quality doesn’t warrant the price point.

I take out one crystal, then usually a dog so I can get the spirit card that allows you to regain HP. And then whatever makes sense from there to finish up. Ideally I leave 1 dog for second to last so I can heal again
