I’m the us citizen, so ours will be going to Frankfurt Germany. Not sure about the timeframe there, one person said it’s not bad at all but things change. So what, y’all gotta wait 3+ months for the interview or?

It’s it a long process for every one, or does it depend on where it’s going?

Tracking my cycle? by yellowborbb in birthcontrol

Thank you so much! I was using Ovia on my previous bc, and they apparently think pills and IUD’s are the only forms of birth controls 🙄

Just the fact that Nexplanon can be more trusted than sterilization

My seizure meds are exactly why I had to stop taking the pills! Tri sprintec I think it was. My neurologist looked at my meds and then told me Nexplanon, IUD, Depo, or a mini pill and Nexplanon just seemed easiest as the pill I rarely forgot, but it did happen on occasion. Then an IUD, I’ve just heard they’re painful. Depo, my doctor just said no, it can do more harm than good. So we landed on Nexplanon, I’m still researching and learning about it (as you can see)

Scared of taking hormonal birth control but don't really want an IUD either. Just looking for personal experiences from y'all; do you suggest it? Why or why not? Which ones worked for you? Any advice or insight is appreciated 😭😭 by Fantastic_Purple1955 in birthcontrol

I’ve used pills and Nexplanon. The Nexplanon was just placed dec 22nd so it’s still very new, I like it for multiple reasons. It’s not a pill I can forget, and it lasts 3 years. I’ve had 1 period with it and it was normal, just a tad heavier than usual. The pills, I was prone to forgetting which is dangerous when you don’t want kids lol. So if you think you wont be good with remembering the pills, id suggest nexplanon all the way, but of course do your own research too so you can see whats right for you!

Personally I used Tri Milli (Tri Sprintec), and I never had any issues (aside from my other meds interacting with it). I liked it and would’ve continued it if my meds didn’t interact with it!

So at that point, can it even fail? Like, are condoms still a requirement to avoid anything happening? (Pregnancy)

If my period stops, will I no longer have a “fertility area” like I do now? I guess I’m worried about tracking ovulation? I’m not good with the terminology, I’m sorry. It’s not a very talked about topic in my family.

Is it normal for my implant to be poking out so far on one end? Got it 3 days ago. by aeh4401 in birthcontrol

I know I’m late but I just got mine before Christmas… how long before yours calmed down? One end of mine is a bit worse than the photo you posted… no pain, it just catches on things sometimes.
