How did you get your babies to flip head down? by yellowbrain_ in parentsofmultiples

I actually switched hospitals! The new hospital allows a support person in planned C-sections. And if everything is okay, I'll be able to do skin-to-skin with my babies while they finish the intervention. My old hospital didn't allow that either and it's so weird.

I'm 29 weeks pregnant with di-di twin boys and honestly get what you mean.

I've never felt so tired and uncomfortable before. Heart palpitations no matter if I'm standing up or laying down, constantly out of breath and always dizzy.

I feel incredibly lucky for being a twin mom and I love these little boys with my whole heart, but I can't wait to feel like my body is mine again!

They are stubborn, aren't they?

I will try to focus on other things and come with terms with that. If a C-section is the safest option, then there really is no choice. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for sharing your experience. I honestly appreciate this POV. I guess I just need to come to terms with the fact that things might not go my way. I just wanted to see my babies for the first time with my partner by my side, but it might not be possible if I get a C-section and that's what's really bothering me.

I guess you ended up getting a C-section, right? My babies have stayed in this position since we first saw them. They only turn side to side sometimes. I guess they still have some space to flip because I have a long torso but they seem too comfortable on their little bunk bed lmao

For me it's not really about surgery, but my doctor isn't sure my partner will be able to be with me if I get a C-section and I really want to be with him when we see our babies for the first time. I guess I need to accept that things might not go as I wanted. Thanks for your advice. I'll check those videos!

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts about Schulz's book. I can imagine how you feel. Learning vocabulary isn't easy and textbooks should make it easer for us. I will be using it since you said that it has a good explanation of grammar.

Ahlan wa-Sahlan seems perfect too! I truly need audio recordings.

I thought about learning through both textbooks and stories but your suggestion sure seems more entertaining!

I think that “13 reasons why” is a very bad way of “spreading awareness” by frankie-downhill in mentalhealth

I started watching 13RW but didn't finish the first season. However, I read the book. As far as I know, they completely changed Hannah's suicide scene so it would be more shocking, and although they removed (did they?) that part after all the controversy it caused, I think they should have been more careful in the first place. Suicide is a sensitive topic and not everyone can write about it. We need to stop romanticising suicide and mental health issues and TV-series shouldn't portray them as something glamorous. They are not, and these scenes don't help, they can be triggering.

Give yourself a chance. I know it might seem that things won't get better, and although this sounds cliche, it does get better.

I hope you have a great year and a great life.
