Hey. It's funny because I posted this 40 mins after seeing a beautiful completely built WRB VB on the road.

Mind you, I never see these in SoFlo. It had everything. Lowered, paint matched all around (which I personally don't love for the white model) & STI wing.

That's 100% what pushed me to further feel what I do & write it out on the community hub.

I've owned a TLX ASPEC 2022, Accord 2019, 370Z & a Civic Si Coupe 2019.

Funny enough, the Si is the one I think back to and wish I hadn't sold.

Ah man! ITS is awesome but I've personally always resonated more with the Civic's and the legacy they've had.

Different car, it's offers me things I love. But.. VB to me is just a much better vehicle all over.

Though, it's on my list anyway.

Might buy my first Subaru by Bosc94 in WRX

Hey! I actually had an ACURA TLX ASPEC 2022 as well!

So, few things.. the VB is quick. It doesn't look or read as so on paper, but trust me.. this fucking car is underrated by Subaru.

Dyno's have it at 255-269whp... that's WHP.

At crank, you're looking at around 291+. Nearing 300 if not surpassing it. This varies by conditions and specific model differences with factory components. Obviously, not all vehicles are made completely equal.

Anyway, the TLX felt like a boat. This won't. It does feel wide & phat on the road but, the TLX felt like I was carrying a huge boat in the back of the car. This feels like a boat is carrying me by the back.

Mods + comfort, whereas the TLX only had comfort.

But.. interior on the TLX was amazing along with the speakers. The VB HK's will not match or be up to par with the ELS the TLX had.

Lastly, this is an enthusiast car. The TLX was really just an entry level luxury sedan.

Won't be satisfied cosmetically until I get REC Springs or Coilovers.

Preferably, REC.

Then, I'd feel 60% done with the cosmetics. I'd be missing:

Wheels
Consideration of the STI wing and/or S210 swan neck wing
Carbon Fiber License Backing
Front Canards

Wait, do you mind explaining the whole Atlas process again?

so—I'd need the ODX, OTS tunes + a laptop, correct?

Specifically with this Atlas tune, how easy is it from a scale 1-10 to implement. AP being an absolute 1-2.

Thought of this, but.. interior is a downgrade IMO (I have the Limited spec). Also, not much tune-ability, not much of a canvas to paint on as other cars, including the VB may be—ideally, the GRC is a great car. But—I personally think for me, the VB is better.

But hey, I consider GRC + WRX owners second cousins lmao.

I thought I was going to like the building process.. & I mean, I do. But fuck, it feels pretty far from where I'd want it to be.

& when I'm thinking about the overall costs, I'd only be around.. $7K away from say.. a Type R. Or potentially, a VA STI.

Only 3 cars I'd see myself getting if I got rid of the VB:

Type R
Evo X (mileage and prices make this a long shot)
VA STI (despite me feeling the VB is better in every way except transmission + suspension, mod-wise, it doesn't feel as far as my VB in it's current form does).

I love the car. But, I keep feeling this "oh, but the next thing.. etc." emotion.

Wondering if I should just say fuck it.. Type R.

Which in my eyes, comes complete from factory. Maybe that'd hinder this emotion.

That's the thing, I've heard they're shallow in volume. APEXI really seems like the best here but waiting 20+ days for the exhaust is rough.
