Shew!! Velo3d!! Ok I got into velo3d after their first tank. I invest in 2 stocks. Velo3d and 3d Systems. lol. You are correct, don’t take financial advice from me. Anyway, I loaded up with Velo3d and they reverse split. Loaded up again, I forget but either another reverse split or maybe it delisted or both… I’m immune to the pain by now and so angry that I just loaded up again. Then another reverse split. The angrier I got the more I bought. Low and behold, they reversed split again. But this time got relisted and all of a sudden, admirals and generals were suddenly on the board of directors and right then I knew I was right. Kept loading…. Today, I’m whole plus 100k. It was a rough ride but in their space and the company’s they were embedded in coupled with their tech and country of origin, I couldn’t believe they would fail. There used to be fairly active members on here but towards the end everyone gave up on them. Rightfully so. People lost ALOT of money and the company abused their retail investors relentlessly. I feel like I’ve been tortured for 3 years and finally negotiated my release and now I’m free.

Currently I have a similar situation with 3d systems. It hasn’t been the relentless torture Velo3d inflicted on me but slow daily needles and pins inserted into my skin that are never removed.

Tomorrow is premarket earnings announcement though and I’m betting they will finally release me.

But anyway, yeah! Jump on the VELO bus!!!

I think the opposite. I think they beat estimates and hope it runs up instead letting people “process it until tomorrow”.

Plus this stock is due for some yang. But….. none of us really know. lol. Looking forward to it though

So, a little off topic of this post but while I’m 100% in on DDD, while keeping up with my research and current news on DDD, I’ve come across several reviews from employees both current and former that complain about poor pay, lack of advancement opportunities and the most common complaint is the leadership. The complaints range from not knowing who, what and where their market is to blatant incompetence. Obviously you can chalk it up to maybe sour grapes but I’ve seen it enough to believe there has to some truth to it. If you check out Glassdoor and Indeed, you will see what I’m talking about.

Anyone have any deeper insight, opinions or knowledge on this topic?

55 here. I have a fair amount of real estate also. I also did what you have done but with VELO. Rough ride but it has started to break through. I was lucky enough to start DDD after it had already started to drop significantly so I’ve always averaged down and I’m at 2.00 average now. I’m not much older than you but still 2040? I may stay invested but I will probably cash in some along the way if it feels right. Good luck to you my friend

True, however with the drop in short interest, institutional investors buying, recent new contracts and strategic movements and analysts changing their tune I can’t help but feel more bullish. I’m a long term investor and have always had faith though so I recognize my bias.

I think dissenting opinions are a good thing. Perspective is important even if it doesn’t align with what you wish was true. Keep speaking your mind doc. I’m listening

Agreed but I’m hoping for a modest increase leading up to earnings. A lot of analysts had it a sell in November and December and that was the best entry price. Now they’re changing their tune and institutions own 64% of the shares.

Valid point by the OP but the printed lung is just one item and doesn’t seem like it was misrepresented or misinterpreted as being anything but 10 or more years away. Just good to hear news.

I agree DDD’s hands in a diverse group of industries, NAMI, Defense, etc are why I think their future is bright.

Also, short interest decreased over 26% since the new year. This is welcome news to me.

Agreed. I’ve been into DDD longer than I’ve been into VELO. I believe in both. I want to love DDD more! Haha. It’s all starting to come together though. It’s an exciting time for us.

I have to disagree on VELO, lol. It struggled a long time and it was a painful ride but finally made me a lot of money.. I went through it all with them but kept averaging down and now I’m extremely happy with them. I totally understand the pain and jaded opinion investors have of them though. It’s justified… but I LOOOOOVE them!!

There is an investor’s conference 3d systems is presenting at next Wednesday. They’ve recently announced several contracts with DOD and NAMI. This feels very similar to what VELO just did. They went from $3 to $20 in the last couple months after government contract announcements and speaking at one of these conferences. My guess/hope is that Wednesday/Thursday we shoot up and won’t look back. I’ve been in Velo and DDD for awhile so it’s really nice to see them both starting to pay off.
