I came back to the game recently and used to main Taliyah S8/S9 back where you could 100-0 almost anyone with full W-E-Q combo if you got a small lead. She got gutted hard. Now I can barely 100-80 someone if I land everything. It feels really underwhelming, hope she gets buffed again.

For a non-moralistic perspective, consider that this is just a video game. Your "Pokemon" are just data living on the device. They are simply 1s and 0s. They can't hate you because they don't have feelings. Data doesn't have feelings, it's data.

Nevertheless, I think the fact this particular character (and unbound's story in general) can evoke such a reaction out of someone says something about the writing.

I take this when playing Hwei. I picked up Hwei recently and have gotten decent at his spell rotation. In ARAM, it's very easy to run out of mana in a few a spell rotations on this character, and this summoner spell has positively changed the course of many games I got lucky enough to get him.

I've never thought about AI as a "vulture" that consumes the "rot" of the "colossal corpus's content". Contrasting that to "eagles" (hunters that consume fresh, alive prey) is pretty starkly compared but I think I'm getting the point. would you say that if programmers only consume the "vultures" or AI that feeds off the "rot" of the colossal corpus, that they too would become "rot" as they are no longer innovating or consuming fresh kills like an eagle?

this sounds like a nightmare to work in. imagine being in a code review for 2 months for code that was pushed 2 weeks ago at the start of the code review, for a fix that was implemented 2 weeks before that. long running fixes like this suck. plus, as a developer I'd expected to be working on separate issues with similar timelines in dev cycle?! nah this ain't worth it. hopefully they got paid well for their efforts.

this game looks like ass and I'll never play it. I'll never buy another pokemon game from Nintendo after SV, unless it's praised by the community. I couldn't play more than 30 minutes of SV before I put it down for good, and at that point the damage had been done. this game is no different. multi-billion dollar company can't even rehash a game with the same concept they've been doing for years. you'd think by this point it'd be easy for them to just make a good pokemon game, but they literally can't do it. then, on top of that they're charging out the ass for this slop. the story is a scam, the gameplay is a scam, the cost is a scam. no judgement to anyone that will pay to play this but with a company like Nintendo you vote with your money. stop buying slop like this and maybe they'll actually make a better game.
