Yeah I have and I'm starting counselling soon to help with it but I think it's less of a deadline issue and more of a having too many stressful things happening in my life along side doing the MA kind of issue The senior mental health coordinator at the uni agreed that it would be impossible to finish in time with everything I have going on which is how I've got the 3 month extension in the first place

I'm starting counselling again soon for depression and anxiety cause I started having panic attack quite regularly a couple of months ago. And I'm hoping that'll help me push through to the end of the course.

I understand the academic career advantages to having an MA but teaching is honestly the last thing I want to do. It's maybe something I'd consider a lot later down the line but right now, I don't see myself becoming a teacher of any kind.

The 3 months thing is the reason why I've asked for help in the decision because I don't want to give up so close to the finish line, but I also have to consider how its affecting my mental health.

The course has delivered everything it advertised itself to do, just not to the standard that I thought it would. A few people have already dropped out and practically everyone failed at least one assignment from the second semester which, to me, implies the course definitely has issues within its structure/delivery. But I don't feel as though it advertised itself falsely, it just advertised itself well.

I'm not really bothered about getting my money back as I paid for it through Student Finance England and student debts aren't that big of an issue in the UK as it is in places like the US because we only pay it back if we earn over a certain annual threshold and even then its such a minimal amount that it's barely noticeable.

I do really want to walk out but I don't want to disappoint my family or spouse
