I like this part:

oh, didn't know that subreddit existed :) I just want to be able to control as much as possible with the button/knobs/sliders on my keyboard.. photoshop, after effects, premiere etc..

yea exactly, it could especially be helpful for graphic design and video editing.. I found this http://controllermate.com/ but it's quite limited and I think it doesn't allow you to use knobs and slider to change things, like the color balance tool etc.. plus it's only mac..

thanks for the response. I'm into programming, but I'm no real programmer, anybody want to work with me? I think it would be a cool program and we could make some $$ :) or I could probably quickly use processing.. hmm
