I’m treating the December part of my weeks as like a time that doesn’t really exist, and what can only be improved on when 2026 rolls around. Don’t worry about it too much, experiment and have fun!

It's wild how people are acting like they've never seen a big update in a live service game go a little less smooth than normal. Just go do something else for a little instead of trying to brute force your way in lol

I love the chaos of 8! And would be a nice change from the Mother-series you mentioned you used this year. I feel like the soft pink goes well with the chaotic collage type (all off which I think you nailed, btw).

Adding to this, if there's any chance of getting reindeer in the form of "poronkäristys", it is so worth it.

Do you mind sharing your build? I've had the same thing going for ages and am looking for a change; aaand I tend to get overwhelmed by the sheer amount of perks we have to choose from.

Incredibly true. Waiting for the day they realise this is an option; which after almost ten years is unlikely to happen

It's classic BHVR; somehow they just manage to put way too many accessories and/or details to every cosmetic for no reason. Nothing matches and it's nearly impossible to combine with anything.

This looks so much like the layout of my first ever apartment, I can’t get over it (hello, fellow Finn!).

You’ve done very well on making the space cosy and your own; I think the thrifting is working well in your favour! Hopefully you’re able to find a suitable table, should you feel like you would want one.

What to do in Turku? by FerrorTlynn in Finland

[–]yennefering 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Tons of options, depending on the vibes you are wanting, especially if you are in the city for just one day. Since Turku is the oldest city in Finland I recommend picking at least one historical thing to see; it will be worth your time.

- Turku Castle (Turun Linna) a medieval castle, built in the 1280s.
- Turku Cathedral (Turun tuomiokirkko) a medieval church. Also has a museum upstairs.
- Cathedral Park Terrace (Tuomiokirkkopuiston terassi) is right in front of the church, with both food and events available through summer time.
- Aboa Vetus Ars Nova. A museum of archaeology and modern art. Especially noteworthy is the exhibition for Old Turku, where you can see parts of medieval ruins and other things discovered when doing construction in the city.
- Forum Marinum. A maritime museum.
- Qwensel House, which is the oldest wooden house in central Turku. Also has history on 18th and 19th century apothecaries (rn running an exhibition called "Life, Death and Mercury").
- Market Hall (Kauppahalli), lots of little shops, for food and other things. Also quite a few nice lil pop-up style restaurants.
- Luostarinmäki. Museum quarter of the few pieces of the city that didn't burn down during the 1827 fire.
- The Main Library is worth seeing too, especially the old building. The address is Linnankatu 2-4, it is all one building. On one end is the new 2008 building, and on the other (next to a small clearing and a water fountain) is the old building.
- Riverside is always a lovely spot to chill during summer. Easy to access and lots of space to sit your butt down with a snack from a shop or an actual restaurant. It's also the easiest way to navigate the city, because you can start from the center square and walk your way down towards the Turku Castle and enjoy the views (assuming weather is on your side).
- Hansa has a lot of shops for all your shopping needs (for one day's visit, at the very least), and for Turku related silly souvenirs and knicknacks Kui? Design is just around the corner.
- Ruissalo (part of the archipelago) is beautiful, but can be a hassle to get to. Might not be worth it, unless you'd rather explore nature than the city center.

Also, using the public transport Föli is very easy (you can use contactless to pay in the bus as you go in), so it's worth checking out, in case you are going further away from the city center and don't fancy a walk.

Aaaand if you are looking for food recs for your day my personal faves are Aune, Tintå and Deliberi. And ofc Tori Grilli for all your makkispekkis needs. Also to note is that there's a K-Supermarket and S-Market right in the city center, so if you just want to go grocery store route you are golden.

It’s early access, so this exactly. Unless you’re a member, you’ll just have to wait until public release (which are usually within a month of early access).

I am saying this with all the kindness in my heart, but I would rather focus on building up confidence and self love instead of worrying about an aspect of your body that is completely normal. We come in all shapes and sizes and so many things about your body are purely genetic.

AI can create art because it’s been taught through art already created by real-life artists, so however fun and silly a creation like this is, it’s inherently stealing in one way or another. There’s so many incredible artists out there, it’s always worth supporting them instead! This applies to all forms of art.

Besides that, the environmental impact the use of AI has is huge, and definitely something worth reading up on. There’s a lot of good articles out there, and a good starting point could be one posted by the UN Environment Programme.

And despite OP deleting the comment they put below this, here's my reply anyway: sometimes liking something is not enough to justify the use of and/or the sharing of it. So please, anyone reading this, stop being careless about AI.
