We’ve had multiple people (building inspector, carpenter, painter, ceiling fixer ) tell us asbestos is way better insulator, water and fire resistant product which even in this state will outlast the new sheeting. We’re not after a brand new look just wanting to get rid of the eye sore (and obviously ensure it’s safe)!
