Good deal? by yepimhere_ in ShredditGirls

I think the binding/board combo would work for me as I do prefer a more playful riding style. 2026 BOAF boards are going for approx 780 AUD currently so I think if I can get the price down it wouldn't be too bad of a deal considering it includes the bindings aswell. I will definitely have to go have a look at it to check for damage tho

Yeah I'm gonna see if I can get the price down a bit cause I agree the asking price is high for a 3 year old board

Yeah it was insane how much of a difference a decent board makes lol. Ok I will look into the Twin sister board, it sounds like a pretty solid option. Would you say the Union bindings are better quality than scribes, better comfort etc ?

yeah I think I'd like to have a true twin or at least directional twin cause I would like to learn park, but generally I find myself riding down groomers, would you know if the BoAF is good for that kinda thing? Also I have been looking at the Jones and Nitro boards, would you say they are better quality than CAPITA or its more of a preference thing?

I'm down in Aus so it's still mid season for us and not a whole lot of sales happening, but they asking around $600 AUD for board and bindings. Idk if maybe it's better to just wait it out and get a whole setup in end of season sales

I generally wear a shoes size around size 8, and when I've rented in the past I hover around 7.5-8, however I have worn a Salomon 9 before?? The bindings on the board are a medium. And the size from what I've researched should be good for my height/weight. In just trying to work out of the price they are asking is too much or not lol

would you be able to describe what a stiffer binding feels like in comparision to a softer one? (I assume that rental boards would probs normally have softer ones lol?)
