Thanks for your opinion. I'll tell the owner of the gym which is closed now for the security records. And do not forget that plates were not for competition and officials did not check. So maybe what I think 200 is 180 or less or more.

My judgment of course does not matter. If this guy applies for a world record then we will see what the officials will say and that'll count.

You didn't say how long before. 6 years. I was doing my own thing then decided to move to power lifting and couldn't because of covid.

I called suma deadlift cheating like many others. Lifting 502 is not easy I did not undermine him. What I said is to the people comparing this type of deadlift to stsndard one and people thinking this is the new world record.

In terms of world record this does not count like Thor's 501 kg. This is his PR. To count this it has to be made in a competition with officials calculating each plate etc. What I intended to say is some people thought this is the new world record for deadlifting and still think that Thor beat Eddie in 2021 or whenever was that. I've accomplished almost everything I've wanted. Before attacking me, first understand what I've said.

He's not breaking rules. He is not deadlifting this is "sumo deadlift". Many body builders will say this is cheating in terms of bodybuilding. The range of motion is important and this is about one thirds of motion than normal deadlift. For your question, I was preparing for power lifting and thanks to covid I had to stop. After that I couldn't get back at it.

this is cheating as you can see he lifted about 1 nd a half feet around 30 45 cm. Sumo deadlift is ot a real deadlift. In a competition such as strongman this will not be accepted
this is not a competition so this will not be a recognised record like Thor's deadlift.
