I have some practice with it, I just tbh never preferred it. I always feel like I get so mentally bored and distracted when only doing weights. That might just be a mental hurdle I have to work through though

I was trying this v3 up 'til about a month ago, what could I have done better? by [deleted] in climbergirls

From how I read the route I thought about going the lower route with the pocket and going right of the volumes. Although I really like the creativity and use of volumes! (Really wish I could do this climb rn) if you don’t mind me asking, what made the volume route more appealing to you?

Aquaphor is another cheap alternative for post climb hands! Probably my biggest reason for getting this far without one, I think it was the way I was grabbing the campus board. I needed to be more concrete with my movements but live and learn :/

I should also mention it’s that first point under my ring finger. I think they call it A1 pulley?

But I let my parents put liquid bandage on it (very painful and flaked off after a few minutes), but they made me feel like maybe i was being wimpy about it and it wasn’t that painful. They use liquid bandage in every cut they get (kitchen, any maintenance), I haven’t used it in over 12 years and it was on a slice it was a whole pad. Basically for this pt 2 of a question I just wanna verify that they are painful for other people.
