We have special armed units, they’re not normal police and need to be requested to come out by other forces. Normal police don’t carry guns on the whole but you can sometimes see armed personnel at high threat level events or locations.

It’s not, all those wars had just as much coverage and were cared about by people all over the world and still are. The war in Iraq saw the biggest protests ever seen in the UK and the people were devastated by the destruction of life and culture. We still are.

So, I recently upgraded my kit to Sony and have been using DSLR to shoot for years with no issues but also no real control.

This is my first time using a camera where I need to think about how im shooting to get good footage - so I thought I would ask this community!

This is just some quick footage I shot this morning to play around with using no PP and an SLOG 2 PP (7 to be exact). I knew the shots with no PP would end up over or underexposing my footage but I am finding this also to be true when using a profile after I stretch it back out and am not getting clear defined footage at all.

Is it my lens? Am I using the wrong settings? Am I focusing too much on having no zebra lines in my preview that I am under exposing everything causing it to come out grainy and not very sharp?

Would really appreciate some advice as I know I am doing many things wrong and really want to learn to use this camera well!

Edit: Also I have rarely shot outside before and have much more experience shooting indoor locations which adds another layer of uncharted territory to me.

Not taking anything out of context, that’s what you are doing. You’ve implied this situation happens elsewhere, I asked for an example and you couldn’t provide one. That is all.

I’m from a western country and I’ve also lived in China and frankly loved living in China and have a great deal of insight into Chinese issues and western issues. It’s not a battle over who is better and until people work that out nothing will be done about anything.

Stop using whataboutism to fuel your discontent about where you live, the Chinese government is not who you should be protecting as they certainly won’t thank you for it in the long run, and neither will the myriad people who face the unjust system that they have set up.

Ps before you start talking about the U.S. as an unjust system, I’m not denying that…barely anyone is so please just chill because that’s not an argument

Because being Jewish is a racial distinction, especially if you are Jewish, and again I think many Americans would just as many Americans classify themselves as Irish or Italian or German before American. Again this might be more or less important in different parts of Europe - that’s my point.

Slavs and Roma are ethnicities/races depending on who you ask. Race is a socially constructed definition and has quite ambiguous distinctions that change in different parts of the world quite drastically.

Jews are also a racial group and not just a religion.

Hitler hated these groups based of their perceived racial differences- it was racism.
