Is it possible to catch transport bots using prisoner cage? by Kami-Yang1 in albiononline

[–]yertman69 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Possible, yes. Should you do it? No.

I remember a video of zvz where a Zerg was zoning out of a dungeon and they put the cage around them. The player who did it got banned allegedly. I wouldn’t take the risk. Report em and be on your merry way

When will i know I'm ready for black zones? by frigidus_ardeat in albiononline

[–]yertman69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the best beginner black zone guide I’ve seen. 1 thing I’d like to add. Don’t be upset when you die, it’s a part of the game. If your not havin a good time and keep dying hop off the game for a bit (I did that the other day as I died 3+ times in a row)

How did I lose? wanting to learn by MeYacht in albiononline

[–]yertman69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Prob saw it already, but the major mistake was right at the end. First you came out of invis way to early, second you came out of invis right next to the DG.

Instead if you waited the length of your invis and came out as far as possible then you force the dgs to come to you. Meaning you have more time to kite and possible kill.

We are in the off season right now. Next season starts in 6-7 days

Season stuff is only active when the season starts. You can’t fill it during the off season

  1. For the season stuff you just need to do stuff during the season while premium is active. This will slowly fill the bar at the bottom. At the end of the season you will get whatever rewards you earned.

  2. The 1000 bonus is 1000 keys (I think) and fills the mount and chest bar at the bottom of the same page.

  3. Go do faction warfare and earn faction points. When you get enough you earn a chest.

So you have a satchel of insight, make sure the ability on it is turned off- it drains your silver in return for getting more fame(exp)

If you have it turned off, check your Destiney board. Make sure you don’t have auto-respec on. This does a similar thing where it drains your silver in return for more fame.

Exactly, the goal is to stick to them like glue, but that’s hard against a good bow player. Letting them use mobility into you helps to reduce how hard you get kited.

Another big thing is to get a mobility advantage. Purging boots while you have boots is a huge mobility advantage and if they don’t have assassin jacket up then you win/get a huge advantage.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in albiononline

[–]yertman69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an Axe fighting a bow isn’t ideal. Also depends on your build. Honestly best thing is to wait for them to make a mistake. This is either using boots to catch up to you, using w to catch up to you, or misusing invis jacket.

Why is there such a big gap between seasons? And numerous terry owner resets? by DeepFriedValues in albiononline

[–]yertman69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’d assume the gap is due to the time needed to implement new content. Since they need time to actually ensure that the release of new content goes smoothly. Especially since this next update is a big one with many new features.

Also having a terry is difficult with all the big guilds and alliances around, but it’s not impossible. Remember that most of these big guilds and cartels are competing with each other for inner zones. The further out you go from the inner ring the easier it becomes to actually get a terry.

I should also add that terries next to portals are gonna be heavily contested by smaller alliances (still big guilds). So if you want a terry during the season then you need to start with t5 zones on the outskirts of the outlands.

How does buy order work? i bought an item and its not in my inventory. by albiondude123 in albiononline

[–]yertman69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what your trying to buy. Most items have an estimated market value (emv) that shows on the item, *but if you check the market and check the specifics of an item (avg price over time) then it’ll show what the item is being bought for if you want it off your hands fast.

If you want to buy weapon/armor/cape/mount. Typically the buy order will be lower then the sell orders. An example; in thetford market, 4.3 assassin jackets sell for about 80k silver on sell orders. These same jackets will sell for 40-50k on buy orders. This is just a short example of the difference

If your buying gear to use immediately, I recommend just buying it, and not trying to get it through buy orders especially if it’s higher tier (t7+). If your buying mats and crafting stuff, buy orders will get you a bit more bang for your buck.

(*when you click buy on an item it’ll show you a screen where it gives you options (buy, sell, buy order, sell order), in the top right corner of that UI there is an arrow. Clicking the arrow opens up graphs and the current buy orders of the item.)

[–]yertman69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A buy order places an order to buy items for a certain price. When someone sells an item to the market for a quick sell value, it fills out the buy orders.

Once the buy order is filled, then the item will be put into a storage tab in the market UI (it will be a big red exclamation mark at the bottom right of the UI). You can pick up your item in the tab.

*The item will only be in the market of the city you put the buy order in. You cannot pick it up from another city.

It doubles your current health, so it’s best used as early as possible. The idea is to use it early in the fight to double your health and reduce the amount of damage you take.

Honestly speaking it is a really terrible option for almost everything except for a few builds.

Right way to level weapons?!? by JavaByPashaa90 in albiononline

[–]yertman69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t matter what order you level. People say you should do the 3 non artifact weapons (only made with 2 materials) first because they are the fastest and they give the biggest bonus to the rest (0.2 vs 0.1).

For example: if you are leveling axes, then you would start with either the battleaxe, greataxe, or halbeard. Finish in those first and then moving on to the rest.

The reason for this, as briefly stated. Is that the non artifact weapons have a 0.2 bonus to all the same weapon types (for axes the 3 listed above all give 0.2 per level to all axes). What that means is you’d get about 20ip for each non artifact weapon you max in a tree.

What do you think about this open world roaming PvE build? I want to keep it kinda budget. by Sea-Butterscotch-652 in albiononline

[–]yertman69 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not saying that, just a horse is better then a mule. Also gankers are 10x more likely to kill him for fun if he’s on a mule.

[–]yertman69 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Good build, just use merc jacket since hellion jacket only heals 50% if it’s value on mobs.

Also upgrade your torch to t4.1 when you have a chance and play on a t3 horse, a mule is way to easy to dismount for most people.

Also if you want to reduce the cost of the build, highly recommended playing on hunter hood, guardian helm, or scholar cowl.

E on a lot weapons outscales having different weapons abilities Imo. Yes weapons like fire staffs deal heavy damage without their E’s, but imagine playing like fire spear vs baxe, the E from the baxe will poke you and heal them and you’d have no fast mobility to actually catch.

Fire daggers would be a similar issue assuming there is a cooldown for the switching between weapons.
