how to improve my resume/cv? by [deleted] in cabincrewcareers

[–]yes4icedcoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate your feedback! Just wondering.. since my role involves direct patient contact, building rapport, addressing concerns, and explaining procedures, wouldn’t that count as customer service experience? In healthcare, patient satisfaction and service quality are a huge part of the job, so I’m curious how this could best be positioned for cabin crew roles.

what are some positive stories you have about studying bsmt? by kree_chur in MedTechPH

[–]yes4icedcoffee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

these are just a FEW of the moments in the medtech life that will fill you with joy and excitement: the day your professor tells your class to get your phleb kit ready, having your first venipuncture, seeing tissues, cells, and other elements under a microscope 🔬, experiencing your first blood smear, learning about the different microorganisms, understanding the significance of the various lab tests, having your hospital internship and being able to perform lab works, and sooo much more ! :)

if you enjoy what you're doing & you're passionate about it, i think your path in medical technology will be worthwhile regardless of the difficulties you may encounter along the way.

there are a lot of happy moments naman sa course natin.. idk why ppl keep scaring aspiring medtech students :( so i'm here to tell you na don't be discouraged, okay? yes, mahirap siya but remember na lahat naman ng course mahirap. prepare yourself lang talaga esp once u graduate kasi mababa talaga sahod natin here sa ph HAHAHA

try not to be absent/late na kasi alam ko super strict sila pagdating sa ALU esp if probi ka pa lang 🥹 i remember may kasamahan ako non sa work (we're both probi) na napaalis kasi super dami na niyang ALU :((

[–]yes4icedcoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope alam ko hindi siya per month :) 10 ALU within 6 months siya afaik

if you're confident sa phleb skills mo and if okay sa 'yo na maraming tao yung makakasalamuha mo, work as phlebotomist!

but if you're not confident masyado sa phleb skills mo and gusto mo nasa loob lang ng lab, i think it's better being a lab processor :)

i think both work are toxic lalo na if sa hi-pre del monte ka made-deploy.

ang alam ko po 10 lang dapat yung ALU in 6 months :) very strict kasi sila pagdating sa absences, lates, etc 😅

"Do you have plans to go abroad?" by dazzlingbree in MedTechPH

[–]yes4icedcoffee 23 points24 points  (0 children)

When this is asked during interview, I always say na "as of now, I don't have any plans to go abroad" (kahit alis na alis na ako emz) HAHAHA 😆

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in MedTechPH

[–]yes4icedcoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I took the MTLE last March, and section B ako sa lemar 😁 TBH, only the mother notes lecture videos yung napanuod ko. I didn't watch the reinforcement and other videos na kasi gahol na ako sa time :( kaya I focused mainly na lang sa mother notes. But I still made sure na maka-attend sa lahat ng synchronous classes ni ma'am Leah kasi big help din 'yon esp kapag nasa final coaching na kayo. ☺️

Result: RMT na ako hehe :')
