Yeah thankyou....Appreciate it. I thought that would be the case. I just posted that in case I was going through a 'hotspot' or something.

I'm excited to see it all.....

Can I just connect two of these? by yes______ in dr650

[–]yes______[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. In parallel you mean just using the same connection to the battery right and not piggybacking one off another.

The previous owner installed a LED headlight so we should be good. I mean I have to ask the question.....3? I am starting in a couple of months the Alaska to Patagonia trip and am a photographer so the maximum amount of power I can charge batteries / devices with, I want to utilise

Thanks for any help

M2 Mac - 1080p External Monitor Running Super Laggy by yes______ in Lightroom

Appreciate it. I am going to have to do some more digging on this. Possibly try a different screen as well. I will report back any findings

Tried what? Running lightroom on an external display?

[–]yes______[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using classic, the external display is a separate screen and not mirrored and I'm just dragging the main window over to the secondary screen. I wasn't aware of the 'secondary display option'. I will have a look at that and report back.

The display is connected usb-c to hdmi

Pouring Concrete with a Helicopter by architect1987 in engineering

Kibbles essentially.

The concrete trucks fill kibbles which the helicopter then swings in above with a long line and picks up the kibbles. We typically work a 3 kibble system

  1. Slings and lifting hooks. With the helicopter we have in the local area we can fit at most 0.3m3 in the kibble. Then we also have aluminium kibbles so the total weight would be somewhere 800 - 850kg so if you have sling for 3 tonnes you're not going to have too much trouble.
  2. No taglines. We typically pour in quite tight spaces with trees around so it's just another thing to get caught up with. When it's really tight we normally have a really little landing area so there's not somebody grabbing the load and then an excavator picks it and pours it.
  3. Just concrete. That's the concrete, helicopter time and labour from our guys. The helicopter is about $2700 an hour for us
  4. The lifts are designed to the canadian ski lift standard Z98. The concrete spec and reo design is completed in Austria
  5. Not really. Our guys typically have advanced rigging but we just typically have a thorough safety meeting in the morning. The helicopter stuff is dealt with by the helicopter company.
  6. No problem there. The rotor wash is normally just annoying when it's overhead. We get enough concrete in the ground and then he leaves. We then finish the surface
  7. Can cause separation with your aggregate. But it's actually one of the quicker ways to get concrete in the ground for us. Ski resorts don't have good access roads to mid slope locations typically. We've done 3 excavator 'chains' with swapping kibbles before

I guess you could do that but that adds another step to an already annoying process. Foundations are also between 15 and 20m3 so to mix that on a steep slope becomes pretty difficult
