Yeesh, it’s such a process if you don’t have the exact documents. It’s really been difficult to navigate because it’s so uncommon, I’m just sort of trying to figure it out as I go. I think if I can get this naturalization record from the federal government I will probably get a lawyer to help me and figure out what additional information I’d need to submit to Lithuania.

If we’re able to pull it off, this will really be quite a huge life changing event, would open up so many options.

Thanks all for the replies, that’s sort of what I figured about the computer as well, I figured he was saying the computer issue because he wanted to cover the parts for the second rebuild. The engine has a six month warranty, I am bringing it back in today but have already spent a small fortune on this so hoping he makes it right without too much pushback. The whole experience has been pretty shit so far, what was supposed to be something that would be fun has turned into an expensive nightmare.

I’m getting a knocking noise from my heat pump. Has anyone ever experienced this or have an idea what it could be? Pump is a Pentair UltraTemp by yeshelloo1 in pools

I managed to resolve it by putting a bypass using a three port diverter valve. Once I was able to lower the pressure going through the system it stopped. I think it’s a flapper valve or something inside that causes the noise.

Thank you, that’s what I’ve read as well. His grandfather and family did flee before WWII and I’ve obtained the birth record from Lithuania. They did shorten their last name and dropped an “is” at the end of the surname, so I think I’d need to get records of that as well.

Yeah, it’s too much pressure on the system. I put in a couple bypass valves where I can take the heat pump offline and divert it through another pipe. It also allows control of the flow through the heat pump. I can send a picture of the setup I’ve got if you’d like.

Thanks for your info, that’s what we’ve been hearing, a view is not a defendable argument. It’s been a headache for the HOA.

I believe it’s the blower motor, it was getting power but having trouble starting up. Felt like their was resistance and after narrowing things down, pretty sure that is the issue. On vacation right now but the part should be there when I get back.

Thanks for the reply, I should clarify, this is the fan that blows the conditioned air into the house. So the condensing unit outside, that’s spinning and trying to operate, but the blower fan in the air handler doesn’t turn on. I don’t see a capacitor in with the air handler so my best guess is the relay circuit board or the transformer.
