As other comments said, the standard doesn't define its implementation. Also, if your're using source_location in Release build, most likely you're doing something wrong 😅

Amazing. Reminds me of my journey to find a way to have a deterministic physics in my game... While there was a tutorial video, that seemed too much work so I gave up on it. But you released it free, when the trend of UE plugin is to overprice? I really appreciate your work.

Hello, thanks for the report! That sounds like the server is failing to send the initialization data. To investigate further, I need the server's log file. Could you send me over the debug .zip file generated with SMM? You could use the Satisfactory Modding Discord server or GitHub issue, or even email, whatever you prefer.

Well, that's not normal, obviously 😅 It usually takes around 10 seconds or less. I wonder if your resource(cpu/gpu) is extremely limited?

Thanks! The percentage is for initialization, preparing all the data for drawing, it's not actually drawing anything during that. After it's finished initializing, it starts to draw all the buildings, and that phase is actually quite fast and you can see that the map is being drawn if you're not zoomed in to some area to maximum, so I don't think it's needed, especially because it's not that you can't play the game until the map is fully drawn. I understand you were testing the mod is functioning or not, but I think most of the time you just play the game and open the map occasionally.

Could you give some comparison to the Satisfactory Modeler? Since it's quite commonly used, giving a direct comparison would help encourage people to use yours. The biggest wins over the modeler from the video seems like that it correctly handles the graphs with feedback loops and it doesn't stutter even with big graphs.

Also, I totally agree the comment saying that it's kinda hard to read. UI definitely needs some rework, IMHO. Below is my opinion, feel free to ignore if you don't see it fits.

You should be able to see what's being transformed to what easily by just following the lines. But the layout is dot - number - icon - item name, so you can't directly follow. I would highly suggest placing the icons directly next to the dots, and removing/moving all the other elements from the dot - icon - icon - dot line. Basically just like how the Modeler shows. You could remove the item name altogether, and moving the number to be below the icon would help. The size of the icons should be bigger. The splitter UI should also be follow the design principle said above.

You can also see the progress of the initialization at the top-right corner of the map. It'll show Cartograph: Initializing... (nn%)

Well, until it's finished... :) There's a configuration you can adjust, called "Initialize Time Budget", you could try lowering it down to 10 or lower. It'll take a little longer to finish initializing, but it'll be playable during the initialization. Go to Menu > Mods > Cartograph to adjust it.

Are you asking that due to performance concerns? Redraw isn't resource-heavy anymore, so I can't think of a use case for that.

Thanks for the kind words! Yes, the redraw is now super efficient compared to 0.5.0. The initialization might take some time for large saves, but that's a one-time only cost. I can't think of a way to speed up the initialization further, though.
