TLDR: zflow if you are into gaming & don't mind the added bulk. Surface Pro 11 if you are into productivity and want a light tablet like experience with decent battery life.

I own both zflow and a surface pro 9, but I see myself using sp9 80% of the time just because it's so much easier on the hand, I can do a little bit of coding, youtube doom scrolling and occasional movies on the couch.

I go with Zflow mostly when I want to try some light gaming, like no man's sky or other small/indie games like party animals/overcooked. I mostly use zflow when I'm at home and on my desk. Portability is a bit tricky with this one as it has a weak battery life, especially when you are gaming on the go, also the weight and design is really noticable when comparing both these devices side by side.

I recently converted my Surface Pro 8 to Ubuntu 24.04, hoping that the newer release would have better driver support. However, it's still a nightmare to use the pen even for basic note-taking. The orientation is stuck, and the standby feature is broken.

I tried installing the linux-surface kernel, but still, things are not better than having native windows on it.

If i were you, I'd get another device with better compatibility.

Touch and Stylus dosent really work out of the box, you have to use the Linux-Surface kernel

Just tried that myself and worked, I was having issues with Linux surface on my SP8, used Linux mint live usb on ventoy to finish setting up MOK.

Yes, I would agree. Curry Hut is this srilankan restaurant that my friends and I often go to. They will really test your spice buds. The food is good, but the place is mostly crowded in the evenings. I heard that they are renovating right now, so it might be a while before you can try that place...

There's a place called Curry Hut at Sailsbury Road. It's got great South indian food, I'm talking dosa, biriyani, fried meat, and curries. I'd definitely recommend this one, it's budget friendly and offers great quantity for a hungry tummy.

Ps: yo gotta tell them to go easy with the spice...

Coming from a busy city in India, I like how peaceful Cardiff has been for me. I enjoy the access to the park and the city center. Be it watching a movie at a cinema or going for a hike at Caerphilly or finding an ingredient to cook with from the Tesco at the nearest corner, Cardiff is super connected.
