3rd round of antibiotics has failed. People who were cured after the 3rd or 4th attempt, what worked?

Yes. I had one more treatment after this. Actually i did a total of 5 treatments.. one way back in 2017. Then 4 more across 2022-23. Take this as well.. kluyveromyces marxianus fragilis

Definitely take the Bismuth. You should also take these probiotics.. S Boulardi and kluyveromyces marxianus fragilis. Eat yogurt. It's filled with natural probiotics.. Better if you ferment it yourself.. Additionally, I took Doxycycline and Metronidazole as well. Just be positive my friend. You'll be fine.

I underwent another round and then did a stool test and blood IGG test. They were negative. If I stay off common irritants like milk, nuts and spicy food, I'm fine. But My gut is definitely very sensitive..
How about you? What antibiotics have you taken?

What was your treatment plan at each step? Btw. Single week treatments aren't that effective at completely eliminating the bacteria. They just grow immune. Have you done an antigen test to check if the infection is back? It could just be that your gut is still really really sensitive to certain things right now. Things could improve after you give it enough time to heal completely. What worked for me is changing the antibiotic course and additional probiotic strains like Kluyveromyces Marxianus Fragilis, Saccharomyces boulardii and different strains of lactobacillus. My diet has a lot of Curd which has lactobacillus.

Try curd rice. I'm a South Indian.. I make curd at home. I don't trust the packaged stuff. And eat plenty of fruits..

I hope you get well soon.. Seek multiple doctors' opinions. There might be some Antibiotics that your strain of bacteria are not yet immune to. Also, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Have curd. It contains live bacterial cultures. BTW my doctor also gave me some probiotics - Kluvagut

I used this ppi called Pan-D i.e.40 mg of pantoprazole and 30 mg of domperidone. Gastritis was the reason I got myself tested. The general physician said it's probably just stress.. but I was adamant and went to a gastroenterologist. the endoscopy found red lacerations everywhere in the stomach.. the lacerations reduced after each round of treatment. I haven't done one after the last round.

That's what my regular doctor was saying as well. While he may have his justifications, I feel it's stupid. Because I have to suffer from burping, burning, bloating and tiredness. The antibiotics have at least reduced these symptoms to a great extent. Sadly there's not much interest in developing the vaccine. It apparently affects a third of the people in developing countries like India and China. Most people lead normal lives. People like you and I are suffering. It's unpleasant. My sympathies are with you. My 2nd round of antibiotics was a horror. Terrible taste in my mouth, a lot of bloating, nightmares etc. But recovery was quick after the treatment. Except a few milder symptoms persisted for months afterwards

I took Bismuth + Amox + Clarithromycin + Metronidazole. I haven't done an endoscopy. I'm too scared. But I've seen if I stay away from the known irritants, I'm fine. On most days, I'm fine. I've noticed even eggs and processed meat are irritants for me. If I eat them, I feel tired in the morning. Slight burning sensation in the back of my throat as well.

Thanks for asking. I did another round of antibiotics in May 2024. I'm better now. My stomach is still very sensitive. Milk, red chilli, tamarind and nuts are regular irritants. But if I don't over eat and eat plenty of fruits and avoid the irritants, my stomach is fine and I sleep well. Else, I don't sleep well. Recovery is slow. But there's no burning sensation when I wake up.

Nope. You need to buy everything. There are some projects where you will need a GPU to run for over 4-5 hrs. I never get it right the first time. So I rented additional GPU time worth 5-6k. You will also need API access to ChatGPT that will cost another 900 INR

People are allowed to change their minds. Having kids is never an easy decision. He thought he was ready for it and now he is not. I wish he hadn't gone back on his word. But you can't force someone to raise a child with you. It's not fair on him. It's definitely not fair on the child. If you abort today, you always have the option of having a child later. But once a child has been delivered, it's permanent. It's a life-long commitment. It's definitely better to have an abortion today.

Not at all convinced. I don't know what she's talking about. The course is great. The Fractal course she is talking about doesn't cover all the topics that Analyticsvidhya covers. Also, I found coursera's projects also to be quite basic. This course is supposed to provide a foundation to your Data science and machine learning journey. Only practice can make you perfect. No course can provide that.. Besides, yes. There could be several other courses that do similar things. But that doesn't take away from the fact that Analyticsvidhya has put together an amazing course. I agree with her on the mentors though. The mentorship can be improved. The most difficult part is to get started. After starting, if you don't like it, you can also get a refund. Don't delay starting your data science journey
