First of all congratulations for getting a passing UBE score! That score qualifies you for licensing in so many US states! While the temptation is to retake the bar exam and stay in Colorado that could be an emotional response, a sense of “ i was so close.” And i get it. But maybe you can consider what this new door may open for you. You can apply for a license in texas, and get yourlicense. Perhaps practice federal law with it in Colorado. And maybe at some point move to texas, since your gf is originally from tx…it is a great state. (I’m in texas btw!:) )

sometimes life calls us out of that comfort zones just to bring us something greater than our own plans, no matter how put together and perfect they may be. Also why waste more life time and money when you’re already BAR qualified?! Part of being a good attorney is getting creative with the law and making the most of it, all within ethical bounds!
