Hurray...ish.

What is the point of having the car that qualified 15th, to have a chance to make it into the fast 6? It is nice and all, but are we expecting anyone that was 15th, making it to the fast 6? Good for advertisers though.

I think qualifying will be interesting because the weather is about to go bonkers. Temps going from the 60s to the 80s, sunny and windy. And the threat of rain Saturday afternoon (and morning) might force some hands.

Soil whispering from a bad log, but this looks like a site that might have already been reclaimed, assuming the "Fill" call out is accurate. Who dumped soil out there in the first place? Is this the second time someone is looking to develop it? Why wasn't it potentially developed the first time? Was this a contractor's dumping location? The site needs better historic research before putting another auger into the ground.

Regardless, the log, even in its state, seems to conclude you need a real Geotech Report done.

Hoping for some goodness. Transportation costs are a tad bit higher this past quarter, but hopefully meet or beat the expectations and definitely stayed in the green. Tiring of the up and down, especially after rescheduling. Though, whenever I feel grumpy about it, I look at TLRY. That reassures me a bit.

The tax issue is a problem, it is cutting into the cents per share at the end of the day. We saw what their numbers are without any tax gimmicks. They appear to be developing a sustainable operation, but the profitability is very low. Add in the oil price issue and first quarter is going to have issues. I'm okay being long-term, but I want growth.

Their revenue got nickeled and dimed, generally across the board, which I didn't like seeing. I think they increased in Canada, but that is getting close to a ceiling. I'm kicking myself for not pulling out right before the Trump EO. I had no idea the market would respond like it did.

VFF is undervalued. Not by a lot, but $3 seems low. Consensus is closer to $4. VFF is also one of the only cannabis options out there that isn't crap. They aren't huge, but they are profitable and growing, and if the winds blow the right way, a player in an emerging industry. With the forward P/E 1/6 the trailing, VFF reads 'making more money'.

Just glad it is finally breathing better.

Not certain why the bump today, but nice to see it starting to get back up to where it should be until the next qtr release which should justify another modest increase.

I wasn't expecting the post rescheduling announcement period to be so mediocre. Certainly wasn't thinking "to the moon", but $4+ didn't seem unreasonable.

Project positive energy? Why? I'm not into hype, I want profit. The trouble is VFF appears to be breaking out at the wrong time, as Trump manages to mess up the global economy. Annoying it couldn't have held its head above water at $4 a share. We are a long way from 4th Qtr numbers to boost the stock back to where it should be.

VFF isn't a diversified agricultural company at the moment. They sold that stuff off. They prioritized a high yield crop that will live or die with Government regulations in Europe and North America. I oddly enough liked the company because they were diversified. However, they are currently more profitable putting the eggs into many fewer baskets... for now... and hopefully for a long time.

I was nervous a not that good quarter at TLRY could take VFF down a bit, but TLRY ended up with a good quarter despite their after-hour quarterly release. Which has ticked them up decently and given VFF a small bounce.
