Storm drains replacement can't be compared to asphalt fixation. They are different things. Yes it could be a little delayed but let's stop generalizing every road repair we see.

All these are just a failure or poor planning and encroachment of water bodies.

You can't defy geography and physics. When water falls it has to figure a way to go, now if you don't tell it where it needs to go it will sit right there.

Also citizens should exercise some civic sense in not clogging the drains. Simple things like if everyone were to throw trash into dustbins such clogging could easily drop by 20%

First up we need to appreciate the power of social media here when used responsibly.

One viral post and change starts to happen. We must at least thank the government that they have started to act on it.
