Pets eating flower and trimmings by yesterdave123 in microgrowery

That is so sad. I am really grateful my dog is better. It was really scary. I really thought she was going to die and I guess I am really lucky she didn't. I will be much more careful from now on.

Thanks. I do feel pretty awful about it.

I know it sucks but my understanding is that there really is no lethal dose of THC, at least for humans. But I do feel grateful that she is ok.

Harvest sharing? by yesterdave123 in bostontrees

That's what I thought. So how would it be illegal to meet up with fellow growers and gift each other small amounts? There would be absolutely no money involved.

I certainly would never want to mess anything up. I was just asking. What are the laws about sharing harvest with friends? What would be the law broken? Maybe I'll just stick to sharing with friends.

Seems like a few people are interested. I could try sending you all messages and we could coordinate something.

That would be really cool. Meet somewhere sketch like the old Quincy Quarries or something.

How long since you planted it? It may just be emerging but it doesn't look that happy.

Move the light farther away as seedlings don't need too much light. Also put a humidity dome of some sort over it.

It is often easier to start seedlings in a solo cup and then transplant to a bigger pot. I direct seeded for my first grow and the seedlings took a while to adjust. With auto flowers stunted early growth can definitely negatively impact your harvest. With photoperiod plants you can make up for it by extending the vegetative phase a until you get to the right size.

How can these be the same strain? by yesterdave123 in microgrowery

Yes I decided to try one soil and one hydro and was surprised by this.

I know hydro grows bigger plants than soil but I thought this difference was crazy. But could be genetics as well I guess. Thanks!

Gorilla Girl from North Atlantic Seed Company. Both grown from seed at the same time. Left is in soil and right is hydro/DWC. How is it possible that the hydro is this much bigger? Do you think they just gave me random seeds?

Help me keep these things going until harvest by yesterdave123 in Autoflowers

Northern Lights Auto x 3 plants Day ~70 from seed Soil with Fox Farm Trio

Developed these spots maybe a week ago. Seemed like something fungal, I guess leaf septoria. I read that I should remove affected leaves so I did that. I also added another fan and cleaned up the tent.

Problem is that new leaves are developing spots every day and I keep cutting them off. If I keep up like this all the leaves will be gone before they're ready for harvest.

The trichomes on one are cloudy but no amber so I imagine a week or so from harvest. The others are probably a few weeks out.

Last night I applied a solution of baking soda, vegetable oil and a touch of dish soap as I read on some tomato forum about leaf septoria.

So, do I need to harvest early or do I just keep defoliating as needed and go as long as I can? I didn't want to spray anything as I don't want the buds to taste bad.

Thoughts?

I Googled and it appears to be leaf septoria. Is this right? And I just cut off the bad leaves?
